Great stay

Great stay. All the amenities included, none of which I needed or used: nice-looking TV, fridge, keurig, microwave in room. nice-looking pool, exercise room. The room was huge. The bed was comfortable. The price was reasonable. Lacked atmosphere. My rather frugal wife asked to stay someplace nicer next visit to the area because the place is so "Dated." So, we will likely spend twenty bucks more for a smaller room with fewer things (maybe no fridge), but have nicer furnishings and an updated style.

Hotel staff was great. We asked for a bunch of suggestions including where to go in Montreal since we decided to take a quick trip up there. Our room was comfortable and we had lots of space which was nice. No complaints and I would definitely stay here again

Great Staff

Every person we interacted with were very accommodating and friendly. We stayed because it was Pet friendly, we’d go back because it was a great place to stay.

Bad location

The website said that there was an airport shuttle, there was none. Also this hotel was not within walking distance to any amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We do apologize for any miscommunication regarding a shuttle for our hotel. We are located roughly a mile away from the Winooski Traffic Circle, which contains several wonderful restaurants. However we understand that specifically during this time of year, this is not an option for those without access to a vehicle. Needs a lot of work

The hotel was small and quaint but immediately smelled like smoke! The room was dingy and smoke stained and smelled of smoke as well. So much so that I needed to open the patio door! The tv remote didn’t work and the front desk was unable to come to my room so I had to go to the front desk myself!

Unfortunately, while it is against the law and our policy, people do still make the choice to do so inside. Our staff deep-cleans all rooms that have been smoked in, to get rid of this issue. We are so sorry to hear that you experienced this while staying with us. Our desk staff is always willing and happy to go up to a guest room to take care of an issue, if the staff is busy with a guest at the desk, this may just take a little longer. We apologize if this was not properly communicated. We hope that you will choose us again in the future as this does not reflect the typical stay with us.

We have stayed at this particular Days Inn many times over the years and generally have liked our stay. As usual, the service was excellent. However, our room was not as clean as I would have liked. There were great stains on the carpet and although the bathroom vanity and toilet were clean, the bottom of the tub was discolored (old?) and looked like it needed a stiff scrubbing. The hairdryer which hung on the wall just above eye level had a broken wire mesh and a great knot of what appeared to be someone's hair caught up in it. How housekeeping could miss that I don't know. In addition, when sitting on the toilet, you could see that the wall in front of you was not clean - scuff marks and hand prints, etc.- the same for the wall around the vanity. Overall, the room just felt old, worn, a bit dirty (made me wonder about the bedding, although the sheets appeared to be fine) and badly in need of a good makeover. I did like the 24 hour coffee available in the lobby and the breakfast was adequate. We might think twice before staying there again.
