There was mildew in shower tile grout, the soap dish holder in the shower just spun around, something was loose in the heating/cooling unit and was rattling every time the fan switched on, and there was a light bulb in floor lamp that only flickered and didn’t turn on. The parking garage ramps are narrow: 2 vehicles would have a difficult time if passing side by side.

It used to be a nice place with friendly staff. Last time I was there the place was dirty, shower was with mold, linens was not fresh, felt like someone slept in the bed before. I reported this condition to a manager and she wasn’t able to accommodate with a different room. I had to leave the hotel but was charged anyway full amount.

The property is a hinted gem in the upscale neighborhood of Roslyn NY. The room clean with the small touches like vegetable oil soap, ceramic cups for the k-cup machine. The only drawback is that you have to carry your luggage up a steep staircase patio to main lobby. 5 miles away from upscale Roosevelt mall, Costco and total wines.

While our main entrance does have stairs, we also have directions to an entrance on our mid-level of the parking lot which allows you to roll your luggage right in the entrance and to the Lobby. Our 1st room was a disaster. It was extremely small, tucked into a corner of the hotel. It smelled and the plumbing did not work. We requested a different room and we were able to relocate to a different floor, bigger room, no smell. I took a shower and once again the tub dripped nonstop. Very annoying as we again put in a work order and nothing was done. Room cleaning was NOT exacting and crumbs remained on rug. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were a joke. Wont return to this Hilton.

We were here for only one night, and we got in late (almost 11 PM) and left the next morning. The front desk staff were excellent: Polite, helpful, and even tried to get us some food from the restaurant, though it was nearly closing time. He told me he would call within 5 minutes to lmk what he could do, and he did-- WOW! In this day and age, I was super impressed with how he went above & beyond. Our room-- a regular room with a king-sized bed-- was only a few steps from the front desk, so we didn't get to see much of the rest of the hotel, but the bit we saw was older, yet very clean and nicely kept. We had great water pressure & a well-functioning drain in the bathtub (pet peeves of mine), the bed was comfortable, the room pretty quiet despite being close to the reception area, and there was plenty of storage and a cold mini fridge for our drinks (The staff gave us with 2 bottles of water upon check in-- another nice little perk). The modern, LED back-lit mirror couldn't make up for the lack of exhaust fan in the bathroom, but there was plentiful counter space, the bathroom was big enough, & the towels were nice and soft. The usual complimentary mini bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were accompanied by lotion, two cakes of soap, a small container of shoe polish, as well as 4 individually packaged makeup remover wipes. This was one of the best-staffed hotels in which we've stayed in recent memory. Highly recommend if you're ISO a clean, comfortable hotel.

My wife and I have stayed at the Roslyn HotelT least 4 times a year. The staff is amazing! Accommodations are clean and quiet, and the location is lovely. Special thanks to Alexa and the rest of the staff who always make us feel “at home”.

Really not worth the price at all. Most uncomfortable bed imaginable. I’m only 155 pounds and it was barely able to support me. Can’t imagine for a person 200+. In addition the AC was extremely loud, however they did switch my room. The bell boy told me “we have you the only room that had a broken ac” like is that a joke

Everything was very nice and very clean. The reception was nice and professional. My only issue was getting on to the Wi-Fi, which was tricky but the front desk was very helpful. Also, my TV was not connected somehow and therefore did not function. The front desk person once again came to my assistance but the problem could not be rectified and therefore, I was without TV during my stay. One last thing was when I made my morning cup of coffee, the creamers were sour, so no coffee that morning.

I'm sorry to hear that you had any difficulty using the TV in your room. However, I do see notations from our team that it was fixed for you. Additionally, amenity items such as creamer can be replaced/replenished by our Front Desk upon request, so it's unfortunate to hear that you did not get to enjoy your morning coffee after determining that you felt the in-room creamers didn't meet your expectations. Our goal will always be to provide our guests with personalized service, unique amenities, and make them feel welcome, comfortable and cared for.
