The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff were excellent- all very friendly and helpful. We can not comment on the breakfast as we decided to walk into the old town instead which was only an easy 10 minute walk away - and very lovely when you get there. It was great to have onsite parking but it was a bit of a faff as it is fairly tight spaces and you need to use codes to get in and out - but still good to have . The only reason we didn’t mark it excellent was because the on site facilities such as the bar were a bit basic. Overall great value for money.

Our arrival at the hotel around 10 AM was challenging. Hotel staff perform multiple duties and there is not always someone at the front desk to open the door. We were forced to wait on the sidewalk for about a half hour until another guest left because there is no communication device at the front door. (Word of advice - make sure your cellular plan is active before you arrive.) However, from the moment we finally met a staff member, we felt the staff went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Our room was basic but was spacious and very clean. Breakfast exceeded our expectations.

Nice place, awesome location, the biggest drawback for me was the Wifi internet was useless, basically didnt work. If you need any internet access think twice about this one.

Very pleased with the hotel as it is in a fab location right in the city heart of Rouen surrounded by the beautiful streets, cafes, bars and shops. The staff were really friendly and accommodating at all times especially helping with my children and making us feel welcome. Our room was comfortable and quiet at night with the window shut, although we didn’t open it for the night we stayed. Definitely recommend and I was fortunate enough to manage a parking space in the underground carpark which was such an added bonus.

The hotel room is exact setting like the room I had in ibis style, but this room is much higher. The parking entrance is very narrow. Also, when I arrived at the hotel, the staff didn't give clear instructions on the password and the parking zone until we asked about it. I first got the password for the main gate, then I drove around the car park and couldn't figure out which parking slots were available, as they all seemed to be blocked by barriers. My friend had to ask the staff again, and only then did they tell us that the yellow zone is for Novotel's guests. It took me half an hour to park the car.
