Pros: The location
Cons: Softer beds
Location: There are several food choices including Chick-fil-A, which is great for picky kids and a cheap breakfast option. There is also a Target close.
We had a great experience here. We had one small problem with our room fridge staying cold. We had a medication that had to stay cool. We made one call and with in 10 minutes the maintenance supervisor came and had it replaced. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The hotel is located around several food locations that are child friendly. We drove about 15 minutes each day to catch the metro at the Silver Spring Station. It made getting to and from the city super easy. My only complaint is the beds are a little too firm for me, but my husband loved it. We will definitely stay again.

Originally I was booked From March 24-28, 2017, but on March 23 at 1am I called Expedia to change my booking to March 25-28, However, when I checked in on March 25, the front desk lady told me yesterday (March 24) I had a “no show no call”, And I did bring the March 24 “no show no call” issue to the Manager Gloria on Monday (March 27), She checked for me, told me everything is fine- My reservation is from March 25-28. Finally, I check out on March 28, Hotel print the receipt to me in the amount $437.31.-(3 nights) so for no problem. But On March 31, I check my credit card the Hilton Garden Inn they charged me extra $140.12. - Without any Notification. I spoke with Gloria again, she said I had 2 reservations and they don’t have my phone number and address so that’s why they can not send notification to me! But my name doesn’t Change in the hotel computer system. I don’t understand why when I checked out on March 28, I didn’t get the second “reservation” bill! Gloria said it is Expedia fault because they made another reservation for me instead of changing my reservation. That mean she knew it is not my fault. So why hotel have to charge me, Gloria said this is how their system works and there is no way to change it. No Sorry, No Apology. After that, I spoke with Expedia manager who is very professional. Expedia will refund my money. I found my comforter cover and pillow had a red color stain. Ask for new one, Cindy (front desk) gives me a comforter but without cover.

Visited the greater Washington area for a midwinter getaway. Whenever we returned, the room was spotless and put together. It was a pleasure to stay there.

Great stay & location !

Staff is super nice & friendly, great service, comfortable bed & nice room. Great location, just right behind the shopping mall & restaurants. We left very early & missed breakfast. We'll stay again !
