Visiting Someone in A&M

Overall a great hotel. A bit tricky to drive into the main entrance, and not enough lights in the evenings. Rooms were pretty roomy, and the breakfast selection was good. Definitely worth the price we paid.

We share your frustration with trying to find us, since the city will not allow us a sign on Texas Avenue. This has been a many years battle that we hope one day they will budge on. Solid hotel, but paid way too much for it. Just happened to be in town same weekend as the A&M ring ceremony, so local economics kicked in. This is a $99/night type hotel, not a $149/night stay. Otherwise, all OK. Free breakfast was pretty good too.

Good staff, decent accommodations. As Expected

Older limited service hotel still in good condition and well-maintained. Big room with the sofa area. Not the most insulated as noise from other parts of the hotel can be heard, but still not bad. Decent breakfast provided.

Ok hotel in the center of things.

Room was good except for the ac unit which cooled but tripped the breaker when switched to heat. Breakfast was lacking attention. Some items ran out for awhile before being restocked, utensils ran out, eggs were cold and sitting in liquid, pancakes were cold.

Pros: right in the heart of all the A&M action
Cons: hard to find, back off the road behind a tired shop, a sign would be helpful
Went for a college tour/football game weekend. Stayed three nights, enjoyed our stay.

We apologize you had trouble finding us, and getting a sign on the road would definitely be ideal, but unfortunately the city will not allow us to place one there, so we have to have it on the top of our building. We're glad to hear you enjoyed your stay once you were here. Have a great day!
