The room did not seem clean. It might just be that it was outdated, but there was a musty smell that didn't seem to go away. Staff at check in was not even slightly friendly. Check out staff was much better. Not a place I am likely to stay again. Not because any specific experience. Just unimpressed.

All was good except they did not clean my room on Saturday morning. My event didn’t start until 11:00 so when housekeeping knocked I answered and she went to another room. No I didn’t want her in there while I was getting dressed. When I returned to change that evening my room hadn’t been cleaned so as I left for another event I let the lady at the desk know and she told me that since I didn’t let her clean at that time my room would not get cleaned and sure enough when I returned later that night it wasn’t so I will not make reservations there again.

Convenient to TAMU. Hotel sits back from roadway, so it is quiet. Breakfast buffet has everything you need, but the layout is awkward. You have to look for utensils, condiments, etc, but it is all there.

Honestly, the staff makes it shine. One thing however, there was not one usb charging plug around, not on the lamps, clock or wall outlets. Come on... in this day and age... really?? Such a simple, low cost fix to make. And in a handicap room please have a convenient place for towel NEAR the shower/tub. Thanks.

Your front desk staff were super friendly and kind! What I would have preferred was a hotel bar like the hotel next this location plus more breakfast options. Overall it was a great stay.

Staff was great. Loved the 2 room suite. We got a great deal on the room for 2 nights during an ice storm. The breakfast was awful, but we brought our own & the room had a microwave & refrigerator.

clean but too strong an odor.
all the staff were awesome. great location. very clean looking, but did not smell clean. a friend arrived 2 hours earlier. when he came down to meet me I was so happy to see him. Big impression was he smelled like he purchased and overapplied some cheap cologne. We went out and had dinner and that smell persisted. upon arriving to my room, after supper, I realized that the room smelled just like him. Whatever you are using to "freshen" the air is too oily and way over powering. So much so that it was hard to sleep that night with to strong odor. wrong choice, or over application, not sure which. Clorox wipes smell better and cleaner...not just a cover up smell over smell. Again, it was everything and more one would want in an overnight stay; just too much smell. Enough so that I will look for some place else to stay next time.

The room was average. We wanted it for the suite, two separate areas. The door separating the two areas had slats, not a solid door. The sink was cracked and the curtains did not close. We could hear people walking on the floor above us. The breakfast was average.

The hotel that we chose to stay at was great ..the staff was good..the breakfast was excellent ..having social night on Wednesday is something that I never seen before at a hotel I chose a good night to come .Having 2 tvs in my room was great.Overall stay was excellent. Will be back again.
