Nice weekend get away

We had a GREAT weekend get away with the kids, the room was nice...loved the view. Lots of things to do in this town !!!

Hard to check in

Cons: Front desk staff
Could not check family in because reservation was in husband's name and we had 'reserved through Expedia." First time to experience that.

Terrific hotel--under construction

Hotel has terrific bones, and great services--bar, restaurant, coffee shop, and conference rooms! The older parts of the hotel are still in need of renovation. Our room was very nice, but the bathroom clearly needed to be renovated.

Hilton College Station

The hotel lobby furniture was miserably uncomfortable. I tried to sit and read, but could not find a comfortable chair or adequate lighting. I also found the dance music loud and unsuitable for 6:30 am. When in doubt go with the Starbucks model: Comfortable chairs, good lighting, unobtrusive music.

Great location when visiting the university

Staff very friendly, clean hotel, super comfy bed. The only thing that stood out to me was the bathroom was really tight.

Thanks Cathy! Great news - our rooms renovation starts in 4 days and the bathrooms have a big change coming. All bathrooms will have barn doors so no more of that silly design that makes them really tight. You'll love the new look.

Downgrade customers who book with 3rd parties

Hotel is under construction so it's a mess and very dusty on the lobby floor. I booked the room with Expedia and received probably the worst room in the hotel. The room was very very dark, I could not see to do my hair and makeup. The faucet in the shower was coming off the wall. We had a view of a very dirty and ugly rooftop. Will not stay here again.

Not your typical Hilton

This is definitely an older location. Some renovations are being done but focus should be on rooms and I venture to guess the A/C units. While the room was clean, it is need of major updates. It is musty smelling and dark. A/C is incredibly loud. It is close to a variety of restaurants and shopping. Room is no where close to the photos that represent the rooms online.
