got settled into the room, realized that one side of the wall outlets did not work, maintenance could not fix it, had to pack up and move a floor higher which I didn't want to since we were on the floor with the wedding party. No other room was available on the 9th that had a king size bed... so we had to move. The shower door had a horrible squeak sound and the door kept opening while in the shower.

We always enjoy staying at the Hilton in College Station but it seems that the hotel has not done much to update and remodel their rooms. The bar and breakfast buffet are awesome! The staff was very courteous and helpful. I just don't feel that we are getting what we pay for from this hotel any more.

I really felt like I overpaid for what I received!

My stay was disappointing to say the least! Popcorn ceilings, wall outlets removed from walls, cracked sink in the bathroom and caulk in the shower/tub looked like a child applied it.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. We are renovating our guest rooms and have completed 3 floors to date. Although I am unaware of any rooms in the condition you describe (popcorn ceiling excepted). Will you let us know which room so I can personally address?

Pros: Thought the updated lobby and Starbucks/food service were great
Cons: Guestrooms and public space in dire need of renovation - bed was not comfortable
Location: Location is great for Texas A & M - and well situated to everything
The lobby renovation with Starbucks and seating area are great; however, the guestrooms and public space need to be updated now as well. If you're staying for a convention - fine; otherwise, you have newer alternatives in the market. Guessing guestroom reno is on the horizon though!!

Parents Weekend - comfortable, but expensive

We came back to the Hilton College Station because we’ve had a good experience in the past. This time, however, we were a little disappointed. The price was elevated since it was Parents Weekend, but they were in the middle of a lobby remodel. The bar had been moved to a makeshift setup in the restaurant. It was cramped, limited and the A/C didn’t appear to be working. The room was clean, however, it was outdated and smelled musty. The A/C was adequate for the way the room was set up either. Next time, I will probably look for a different place to stay.

Hi Cynthia I must confess to being somewhat baffled by your review. Our lobby renovation was completed and opened in summer of 2017., The conditions you describe do are correct for 10-12 months ago but we have a beautiful lobby and lobby market since then. Come back and see us again.

Great location!

Pros: The location
Cons: The bedding and AC in the rooms , and not enough hot water
Location: went to a movie and dinner.
We will stay here again, however our room was not very comfortable. The AC would not go down any lower and ran most of the night , however the room did not stay very cool and the bedding was not great. For a Hilton I would have expected better quality sheets. also when trying to take a bath, it took a long time to get hot water, most of the bath tub was filled up before the hot water started to work.
