Staff were very attentive. However, they could be better versed regarding information in the general area, i.e. where is the closest gas station, which restaurants in nearby area are recommended, and how to nvaigate to certain destiniations in College Station. Generally they were otherwise very fine.

Room we were assigned was not partitioned as shown in the photo while selecting rooms. Bathroom wall was falling apart. No fan for the bathroom. We booked a room for four, there was no bedding for the pull out couch or extra pillows for the pull out couch. Thankfully the staff was friendly enough to give us the bedding and pillows with no hassle.

Overall, we had a great stay (not there much due to the game). While this property is a little older and run down, the hotel is clean and the cleaning staff are attentive. You aren't far from the College Station to-do's, lots of food options near by. Excellent customer service at check-in (can't remember the young guy's name, but he was friendly!). I plan to stay here again in the near future!

The comfort of the room was great. The heated tub did not work when we first arrived, however it was fixed the next day. The staff was excellent in handling us with respect. The pool was enjoyable except for the children being a lil unruly and their guardian was not very attentive. Again the staff quickly handled that instance as well.

The hotel was in very poor maintenance condition. I checked in to ladders and maintenance workers in the lobby, the place looked poor. Continuing on there was walls missing paint or wallpaper; in early stages of being prep's for upgrade. The same on my 3rd floor. Would recommend fixes in stages as the entire hotel looked in poor shape. This hotel lacks sufficient insulation; I could hear traffic noise all night. I slept very little. My room refrigerator was leaking water on the floor; and it had to be replaced. On the positive, the hotel staff, front desk receptionist and maintenance workers were very nice. Seems like very good people working in a less than positive environment. The rooms should have been discounted given the condition of the hotel.

I was very disappointed in this booking. Online pics show a pretty place to stay with clean rooms and facilities. On arrival noticed several places in the lobby that were unfinished. Gym was out of order. Hallways were scraped bare of paint and sprinkler systems in hallways were covered in blue tape. Halls and elevator were filthy. Broken window and door handle in room. Hair from previous occupant in the floor and coffee splatter on the bathroom wall by light switch. Nothing online indicated the building was as under construction but as multiple vanities and construction debris were piled in the parking lot, it’s obvious that it was. When I asked to be transferred to the other Holiday Inn in the same town, I was told had I asked prior to check in I could have cancelled by room but since I had already checked in, I had to stay. My daughter and I did not feel safe or comfortable staying in a hotel in this condition and opted to get a room at a different hotel. $489 for 2 nights at a hotel that is misrepresented and blind as this one was is absurd.

The staff was super nice and super helpful with any issues. The location is great for food and access to the University. We actually were rebooked from another property through Travelocity and were put into a very nice 1st floor room with disabled access. The property seems very secure and is in a nice location.

it seems the building is starting or undergoing an update. Generally quiet, friendly and courteous staff and OUTSTANDING waterpressure in the shower! The only criticism that I will have is the heat/A/C unit as well as the small refrigerator in the room tends to be noisy. This may be being addressed as the updates occur.
