Great Hotel, staff was friendly, room was great, Breakfast was really good, 2 minor notes: I prefer baths, the drain was not holding the water and the HVAC seems to breath when the sound level is low. I Would recommend this hotel.

No doubt, the nicest staff I have ever witnessed. Went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed.

Very disappointed and concerned about the staffing

I called ahead to request a 1st floor room for my elderly mother. The room was confirmed but on arrival we were told that there were no Handicap accessible rooms available on the first floor because of a terrible smell in the room. I was then given a room on the 2nd floor that had a door closer so strong that even I had trouble opening it. I am 6ft and 230lbs and I had to continually let my mother in and out of her room. As far as odors are concerned, this room also smelled of a general lack of proper cleaning. In addition, on our checkout date I found a maid in our room well before checkout. She was not cleaning the room but simply explained that she was replacing a pillow case. I contacted the morning shift manager and he agreed that she should not have been in the room at that time. His response? He would make a note of it. The Days Inn across the street is a far cheaper facility but the staff is superior. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone visiting College Station.
