The hotel was very clean. Room larger than average! My only complaint was that the front desk had not been notified by Expedia by the time we arrived. There was a delay in over thirty minutes for us to check in because of that problem.

Walk to two restaurants. It was a good place to stop on my way west.

Clerk help with info about cardinals game and area. However, no breakfast available at 9am. Not bad deal for price.

Hotel close to destination. Room was adequate.

Pros: Hotel located within reasonable distance to my destination. Easy to find.
All facilities such as tv, shower with hot water, refrigerator worked well. Bed was comfortable. Sounded like kids were running around the room or hallway on the above floor, but settled down by 10pm. Hotel staff was very friendly.

When we arrived the temperature was in the single degrees. Once we got to the room I had to go to the desk because there was no power to the room. They turned it on, but romm was freezing. Also no cold water in bathroom sink.

Picked this hotel so the kids could swim in the pool get there pool is closed the whole stay and got charged extra for my 2 kids after it clearly stated kids were free under a certain age could of at least said pool was gonna be closed not very happy with this place

Pay a little more for a nicer hotel

Pros: The only redeeming factor was that it was close to where I needed to be the following morning.
Cons: They could start by serving fresh fruit, English muffins, and half and half.
The hotel was not well-maintained. My room was okay but nothing special. The breakfast was nothing short of horrible -- rotten bananas were offered along with a generic version of "Wonder Bread" for toast. In addition, there was no half and half for the coffee. I passed on breakfast. In addition, it appears that I was overcharged by the hotel staff upon check-in -- the rate charged and the rate I was supposed to pay according to Expedia were different. Now I have to go through the hassle with the hotel staff to get my money refunded. Sigh.
