Great room for the price

Posted Sep 9, 2017
Nice large rooms, and plenty of space. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The only suggestion I would make would be to open up your breakfast area more. It was way to crowded for the number of people that were staying. Thank you.

Pool water was hot. Ants in bathroom. Would not stay here again.

We are happy that you stayed at our Days Inn Collinsville, IL. We do apologize for the pool water temperature, we have to have it at 86 degrees as a brand standard. We hope that you will be our guest again in the future. Have a Blessed Day! Billy Lynn Hale- Manager Days Inn Collinsville, IL

Staff a bit overwhelmed with a full house due to the eclipse. It's coming back in 7 years...so they have a bit of time to prep for it.

Overnight stay

Posted Jul 9, 2017
If my stay were longer than a day, I wouldn't have stayed. Broken shower rod, holes in chair, ice machine broken, ran out of food.

Dirty motel by St. Louis.

Posted Jul 8, 2017
Pros: The staff tried to be attentive, but they seemed to be understaffed and beleaguered by customer complaints. The room was spacious.
Cons: Almost everything, but especially the housekeeping. The place was dirty, smelly, and buggy.
Location: Close to the interstate - easy on and off which was good because we wanted to be on our way as soon as we could.
We were very disappointed by this motel. It did not measure up to the reviews. Our first "non-smoking" room reeked of smoke and the bathroom floor and toilet was all wet. We asked for another room and they gave us one. This room was nicer and not as smoky, but it had little bugs in the bathroom and cockroaches by the sink. The place was very dirty and we left as soon as we could. Did not stay to eat the breakfast.

Cahokia

Posted Jul 6, 2017
Location: Cahokia Mounds are only about four miles away and are a very nice place to visit. The Lewis and Clark village is also quite close and worth visiting
For the purpose of my visit this hotel was both close and clean. There are also many and varied places to eat. I would go back here again if ever in the area.

Nice hotel

Posted Jul 5, 2017
We had a nice stay here with no issues. Breakfast was provided daily with plenty of options with lots of restaurants nearby also. Very convenient for quick access to the interstate to get back amd forth from St. Louis (15-20 minute drive). Did not use the pool but it was open and on the smaller size if that matters to you. Overall great stay.
