Overall experience was good. The lobby and first floor hallway seemed to have a lot children, some unsupervised. We asked maids on the floor for some towels, that they did not provide. Finally called the front desk and received them within ten minutes.

The room was clean, the bed was vety comfortable and it was very quiet.

Doubletree Collinsville

Cons: Proximity to St Louis and overall price.
The overall rating for this would have been better except the first room we were in was beat up pretty badly. The toilet did not flush completely and the show fixture was broken. Management did move us for the second night to a more comfortable room.

Convenient location

Staff was very accommodating and professional. The breakfast in the Porter Restaurant was exceptional.

Stay was so Terrific!!

Hotel and Food restaurants onsite were just terrific...between starbucket coffee and waters free everywhere with to go cups available and half off food during happy hour followed by next mornings huge buffet with omelets by chefs w/huge selections of all breakfast feasts to choose from & waitresses getting anything special you wanted, this stay was very very economical. Hotel staff in both areas were so accommodating and helpful...this property really empowers their staff to "do what is necessary" for the guests. Would of liked a small refrigerator in room but the beds & pillows were the best ever slept in a hotel - no kidding

Pleasant surprise

Was hesitant to book here but glad I did. This was a last minute trip and even though they were overbooked on the type of room I reserved, they more than made up for it. Would highly recommend this hotel.
