The bathroom light didn't work. The coffee was cold, there was a roach crawling in the table next to the bed. The breakfast was bad. There was no syrup for the waffles, no butter, the milk was cool not cold, no cream cheese for the bagels.

This place was absolutely NASTY!. UPON ENTERING THE ROOM THE VERY FRIST. THING YOU SEE IS CARPET STAINED WITH EJACUATION STAINS. I ASKED THE ATTEDANT FOR TOWELS TO COVER THE STAINS. She did provide the TOWELS, however did not offer to move us to a more accommodateable room. . I addition the room had ROACHES!

There is a lot around this hotel but this is THE WORST hotel I have ever stayed at. There were roaches in the room. Went to the staff and let them know and he told me they were all booked and didn’t have any other rooms. I felt gross. The bathroom had roaches and the beds and the AC unit.

Disappointing
I was trying to have a little get away for myself to relax. As soon as I walked in my room the smell of the cleaner was so strong that it triggered a headache. I was on the 2nd floor and I went to open the window to air out the room some and there wasn’t a screen. Good thing I didn’t have any kids with me! I went to lay on the bed and it was a very stiff, you could tell it was old! I didn’t really feel comfortable enough to walk bare footed through the room. I took a long hot shower. The shower floor where it met the walls had some black spots that needed cleaned, I assume it was mold. I thought to myself, it’s just one night and this was what I got for not spending a few extra dollars and getting a better hotel. I was just wanting to lay down and watch tv and sleep. I went to brush my teeth.. when I turned the water on a ROACH crawled in the sink. I jumped back and screamed like a little girl. I said “that’s it! I’m going home!” I called the service desk and told them what I saw and I told them I was leaving and I wanted my money back. He apologized and asked me if he could change my room, I said “I’ll pass, thanks!” He didn’t argue with me or ask any questions and refunded my money and I left.

The rooms were not well taken care of or that clean. The breakfast room did not have a working juice dispenser and the waffle and syrup dispensers were not working properly either. We chose the hotel based on its location, but next time we may decide to drive a little further to find a place that has some of the basic amenities in order.

I do not recommend the Baymont in O’Fallon. The staff was friendly, however, our room was cleanish. There were stains all over the couch and comforter. There was also a burn hole in the comforter. The king bed sloped to the middle. I barely slept as it was very uncomfortable. I found hair on the bathroom floor and the hotel has cockroaches. I killed one in the bathroom, and saw one on the middle of the lobby floor. I can not speak about the breakfast as I wouldn’t not eat it after finding cockroaches. When I showered, I noticed chunks of mold or a buildup of some kind coming out of the “sealed” area between the floor of the shower and the wall. The metal ring around the water line running from the toilet to the wall was detached from the wall so you could see into the wall. The towels were also stained. Please save yourself some grief and stay somewhere else.

This hotel needs help.
We arrived at 1am, tired. We are in our 70s. And we were asked for a $100 deposit for possible damages. They experienced a lot of partiers who damaged their rooms. We told the clerk we couldn’t tie up my card because I needed what was left on it for gas for the trip home. He assured us he was only holding it on file. We found out AmExpress couldn’t release the hold for 72 hours and we had to call our son for money to be transferred, so we could buy gas to get home. We were at an event in Utah, traveling to our home in Virginia. 1. We are 70yrs old, tired and arriving at 1am, not ready to party. 2. Then desk said our remaining credit would be accessible after the hold. Then we noticed the filth. The elevator floor covered in spillage that seems like it had been there for a while. Our room was not vacuumed, mirrors had lint dust that had been there for a while, toilet had fecal matter, shower had footprints and mold, windows and bath glass door had dirt and grease smudge marks, comforter was torn and there were blood stains, bedspread had large soil stains that seeped to the comforter. We were offered another room… but we expected to see the same, based on what we saw in the elevator. We asked for a receipt to expense it. He responded “you booked it through a booking agency?” And indicated we get our receipt from there.

The staff was unorganized the hotel was dirty. The furniture in my room was broken. Nobody cleaned our room all weekend. We had to go get our own towels and toiletries from the desk. I would not suggest this place to my worst enemy.

I would never stay at this hotel and would never suggest it to anyone. Like they say, you can't judge a book by it's cover. To look at it from outside, you would think it was going to be nice. The elevator was nasty, and when we got to our room, it was infested with ants. We let the front desk clerk know, and they moved us to another room, to only find out it was infested with ants and cockroaches. I don't think I need to say anymore. Disgusting and gross is how I'll put it!! The only good thing about it, is I got my money back!!

Not a good experience
There was hair (not mine) in the sink. The lamp shades were cracked and broken. The bathroom door could not open completely because the toilet was in the way. The plastic ice bucket lid was cracked and broken. At breakfast there was no juice. I will not be returning here.

This place is dirty, and ran down. I wish i would had read the reviews. The rooms had a horrible stink smell. Covers looked stained. Didn't look or smell clean at all. Old, and raggedy. I don't understand how this place is open for business. The power went out. Switched rooms that wasn't better so had to check out and find somewhere elsewhere. The photo is from the lobby restroom.

I cannot think about anything to like about this hotel. The rooms smell like a smoker live full time in them for years, there are no hairdryers, irons, or ironing boards. The Freezer space is clogged by ice, the walls have holes in them, sinks are cracker, bathroom doors almost hits the toilet, tiles are broken and coming off, flushing doesn't work well, and you get pets (ant and flies) for free. The staff will not help you and are usually nowhere to be found. Breakfast is substandard; watery coffee and stale bread.

The rooms were decently clean but the rest of the hotel is disgusting. Didn’t want to eat breakfast because the area was so nasty. The coffee dispensers, refrigerator, everything had old food and finger prints like they had never been wiped clean. The walls and floors throughout the hotel were so filthy.

I am waiting on a refund. We checked in and went to bed and woke up an hour and a half because we were itching turned on the lights and we had bites all over our bodies and were swollen up all over wd had to cut our vacation short because of the itching and swelling from the bug bites. We won't be staying here again.
I would not recommend staying here. It worked in the end but beds were terrible, you almost had to fight them to even get towels for all the people in your room. Our hand towels were just wash clothes, the rooms smelled and I'm pretty sure the renovations are always happening but not actually happening. I could go on about what wasn't right about our stay, but I guess you could say we got what we paid for, I just expected more from the booking. We had a group with us and they all had the same experience. Hotels like this live off of the sports events close by, it would be nice if they could make the improvements so the stays could be comfortable for the guests.

Your site booked the wrong hotel in a State that I wasn’t even in. After 5-6 puzzles that popped up, for whatever reason you do that, my phone was going dead and then I lost contact. When my phone came back on it said I had reservations in St Louis/ Falon when I was in the middle of Nebraska. Not happy at all. I requested a refund.

Do not stay here. My wife and sister-in-law begged us to go to another hotel, the only reason we stayed is because we got distracted laughing so hard at the online comments from customers that had the same experience as us. - I should have been paid to stay here, because I had to fix our toilet. - we were sold a two queen room online and got here and there was only one bed rooms available. - a police officer was chasing someone in the parking lot when we arrived. - according to comments from the last six years online, this place is in a continual renovation. - breakfast is advertised online, but it’s not actually available and it doesn’t matter because this place is so gross there is no way my wife would let us eat here. - there was food and all sorts of nasty junk in the pullout bed we had to use, bc there wasn’t a second queen sized bed. - there were no sheets for the pullout bed, so w asked for sheets and got one sheet. - the building smelled like weed as we entered, but that was strangely better than the smell of the room. - we used free hotels.com points to stay here, but even that was too much. - Surprised they are allowed to use the Baymont and Wyndham name. This place is gross. Not sure how the score is as high as is. - My brother was planning on sleeping in the car as a better option, but we never received confirmation that the guy being chased by the police was ever caught. -My wife suggested showering at a truck stop down the road instead of here.
