the environment , very relaxing. the bathtub in the room should be more well maintained. no facial tissue provided and there is no plug in the bathroom for shaving and my cell phone. Only one chair in the room should provide a sofa in the room , so we can sit if we don't want to sit in the bed.

This is my favourite hidden jewell in Coloane area. The classical Portuguese style furnitures, excellent food, great location with quiet sea view, and friendly hotel staff... all is great. This time, unfortunately the jet bath function of my room was broken. The other room of my friends also had bad smell, but they didn't mind, so we just stayed there. Overall, for me this is the best hotel in Macau!

Beautiful boutique hotel in a quiet part of Macau - really feels a world away from the rest of the city. The restaurant is fantastic, the rooms cosy with views overlooking the beach, and very friendly staff. Worth every moment!

A long-time favorite
The old Portuguese inn has been a favorite of ours for many years - for its old world ambience, the lovely pool, the great breakfast and restaurant, coffee or meals on the terrace overlooking the bay, the gardens, and nearby beach and eating places. They lost a lot of trees in the area in the 2018 typhoon, but have repaired damages, and remodeled again recently. Rooms are long and narrow with Portuguese tiles and furniture, balconies, relax tubs. Not far from new airport/ferry, new casino area, and Fernando's much loved eatery at Hac Sa. Great Italian pizza down the beach, Lord Stowe's egg tarts in the village of Coloane.

Nice hotel. Beautiful view. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very quiet location - far from everything. No services close to hotel. Hotel’s restaurant is not bad, but is on expensive side. The included breakfast is very good. Have to take bus to go places -to get to the bus stop you have to climb about 75 very steep steps with no railing. Of course taxis are available. Hotel has 2 stories, no elevator. This nice hotel is not for old people. To climb to the high bath tub (the shower is inside bath tub) is a real challenge. There’s no safety bar - the staff was very nice and installed the safety bar for us.....

There was smoking smell at the door and in bed. Pillow case was not yet ready upon checking-in, though it was fairly quick to have it fixed. Recommended only if you didn't have a packed visiting schedule.

Great Place For a Quiet Break
This is our favourite hotel in Macau and have stayed many times over the last 6 years. The staff are friendly, the location quiet and rooms comfortable. In the past it has been a little like Faulty Towers but is now under new management and the improvements are great. My only disappointment is that it may now get too popular 😎

Location is great. To be surrounded by nature and right opposite a charming beach yet only a very short bus trip away from the casino strip. Catching the bus is very painless and cheap and you'd never need to catch a taxi unless coming back late at night. Staff very friendly and everything great. Except room service meal was unbelievable shocking. Quite easily the worst meal I've ever ordered from a hotel in 20 years of traveling. I felt quite angry spending $200 to receive a so called Portuguese curry which has zero flavour or seasoning, rice that was dried out and I never feed to a homeless cat and the worst - the friend cod fritters that had not been de-boned so that ever single mounthful was filled with tiny cod bones. That anyone could allow that to be served to me is unforgivable and marred an otherwise very nice, very well run hotel. I would suggest stay there as it's great value for money but do not waste your stomach eating there!

Room had beach view. Loved sitting on Cheoc Van beach in early morning to hear the gentle; refreshing sound of the waves. Relatively quiet save for a few swimmers. Enjoyed having breakfast on open-air patio. Breakfast is served from 8am and included juice; yoghurt; fresh fruits; cereal; breads; salad; egg station and ham. Had alfresco dinner of clams with excellent bread at hotel restaurant : ) Nice swimming pool and deck chairs. Room is clean, alas jacuzzi in bathroom did not work. Servers were attentive and helpful. Public bus services available to Coloane (Lord Stow’s Bakery – 4 bus stops away; Ha Sac beach – 4 stops away); Taipa and Macau Peninsula. Macau EasyGo Bus app is helpful to get around.

Nice hotel. Very comfortable very cozy. I really love it. The staff are friendly. The only bad thing is the transport not very convinient as it did not have free shuttle bus and need to walk up the staircase to the bus stop very tiring 😂😂 But overall I really love it!!!!!!!! The breakfast is the same everyday hope it could have different choices everyday. Will definitely come back again if I visit Macau. It makes me feel like home and this hotel near to the famous Portuguese egg tart!!!! Ohh and the room service was good !
