The staff were very friendly and the room was really clean and had airconditioning. Breakfast was really good, a lot of different things to eat and drink.

Quick Koln Stop
A 2 day stay in Koln at the RosasMontag festival. Fairly low key having just come out of corona but the city was full of people and had a nice vibe. The hotel is a bit away from the centre but transport is near if you don’t like walking. We took the dog and there’s places very near to walk. We ate at Lacorno an Italian nearby which was very good and very reasonable. And in the late afternoon has tables outside in the sun.

Wonderful hotel! Very simple improvements needed!
The New Yorker Hotel Köln-Messe is located in a really funky, awesome part of Köln, and it is not well-populated. However, it is walking distance from some wonderful restaurants, grocery stores (ex. Rewe), and the fantastic Café Jakubowski. My partner and I stayed in the Gramercy junior suite, and the actual suite was MUCH better in real life than how it is presented in the pictures! There was a kitchenette, a living space, a separate sleeping space, a nice balcony overlooking a courtyard, and a spacious bathroom. The apartment can be improved by: offering a selection of tea bags and coffee options, including a basic pot and pan for the kitchenette, having a small trash can near the kitchenette, adding more hanging space in the bathroom (there is only 1 hook and the radiator, but 5 more hooks can be easily added, as well as some hooks to hang smaller towels by the sink), and offering two bottles of water instead of one with two glasses. With these small, easy improvements, this hotel will go from excellent to AMAZING! However, I look forward to staying here again. Thank you!

The hotel is excellent, the staff was very friendly, both at check-in and check-out. Location is good, with tram/bus connections to city center. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The main criticism I have of the room is that the bathroom door is an almost transparent glass and had no lock.

Off the beaten path...
Staff was very friendly! Rooms are small but great for the one night we stayed. The hotel is a bit off from where we wanted to be but it all worked out. I would recommend this place!

The stay was ok. The check in was a bit confusing as I recall selecting 2 beds on hotels.com but when I got to the room it was only one bed. I had to go all the way back to reception and they could only offer to put a foldable bed in the room. There was plenty of space but folding beds are not that comfortable.

Great staff!!!
Both Tim and his colleague on the day shift were VERY helpful instructing us on how to get around town. They called us a cab and allowed us to store a ton of our motorcycles gear while we spent the day in old town.

Nice hotel outside of city center
Nicely laid out rooms, however the bathroom feels a bit old/minimal compared to the rest of the room. Balcony was also nice. Location was ok. Not a particularly great area, however also not far from the city center.

Very good service in a friendly hotel
I chose this hotel as it's close to our office. The staff is fantastic, very friendly and great service. But the location is quite far from city center of Cologne and not so easy to get to, using public transport. Breakfast is very fresh, rooms are OK, but I miss some English TV channels. Last time there were none!

The place is really bad. You should either take a taxi or walk a long distance to the nearest s bahn station. During our stay the elevator didn't work. Wifi is not free.

Good Hotel would recommend
It's got everything you need . Limited Evening food but adequate if you don't want to go out . But 2 decent restaurants local outside. Breakfast was excellent . Staff friendly and efficient . Not much of a bar . Gym got everything you need . Sauna box was off , I don't think it gets used much . Odd part of town industrial area . All in all would recommend

Great Hotel
Due to the fact that this was a business trip, we did not stay much in the hotel, however, we looked forward to returning to it after a tough day of work. The staff where very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return to this hotel.

Hotel with special atmosphare
Located in an old "industrial" area, this hotel has been buildt/ transformed to a nice location with special design and architectural features in the lobby and restaurant area. The "gardens" on both sides of the restaurant area are also designed with great style. The staff is absolutely friendly. In the direct neighbourhood there is little offer for dining and nightlife, but the center of Cologne is not far away.

Unique hotel
This was a designer hotel with all you would expect that to entail. Great for the aficionado. There were numerous fascinating aspects to it - lots of interest there. The staff were great and the room clean and comfortable. There was a heatwave while we were there and we did wish our room had been air-conditioned. The location is not central but t was easy enough to reach the centre of Cologne with a short taxi ride. I am glad we stayed there.

Excellent Hotel
A lovely boutique small 4* hotel in an excellent location 10 mins walk to the Koln Messe exhibition centre. Also close to city centre, approx 9 Euros in a cab. Clean and modern rooms and overall very happy with our stay.

The hotel staff were fantastic at every turn; The property stylish, but not comfortable. Fruit left out without cover was covered with fruit flies; Bathrooms had a single 8 inch x 3 inches wide surface for toiletries; bathroom designed as a wet room - not sure the floors were too clean; it was humid when we arrived - had to change rooms and pay a 10 euro fee to get air conditioning; the safe isn't big enough for a laptop, but ok for a small box or phone/passport; room colours were dreadful - ok for a night, but if you stay 3 nights the room has no charm of it's own; this vintage of hotel ought to provide cd players; tried to use the gym but had to get the desk to turn on the electricity at the bike; no treadmill; couldn't get the bike seat to move - in other words the equipment was out of service. Lonely basement position in the building - no activity - no water, or attendant. Location - anything the neighborhood isn't safe for walking - actually there is noone anywhere to be seen - it's a converted warehouse but there is no residential area nearby. Not as close to the conference center as described - we still took taxi's

In meinem Zimmer hat der Anschluss der Dusche in der Wand geleckt. Die Dusche hätte auch etwas sauberer sein können. Das Zimmer hat seinen Zweck erfüllt. Das Frühstück war gut.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön und auch sehr ruhig gelegen - allerdings auch bezüglich des ÖPNV. Die Busse fahren zwar direkt um die Ecke Richtung Köln Mitte los, aber am Wochenende in großen Zeitabständen. Unter der Woche ist es besser. Die nomalen Zimmer sind groß genug und haben Klimaanlage - was bei unserem Aufenthalt an einem extrem heißen Wochenende sehr hilfreich war. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist klein aber fein. Alles dabei, was man braucht.
