"Excellent hotel! I'm in Sri Lanka every year and try to check out a new hotel in Colombo each time and this might be my favorite so far. Very clean and all the employees are polite, helpful, and professional. The rooftop restaurant and bar are good but warning very loud in the evenings. The gym is small and a bit dark but sufficient to get a good workout in. The lounge at the check in level is wonderful with great views of the ocean and we were lucky to be sitting there for some beautiful live piano playing. I would stay here again!"

"A beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Yasiru in the dining room is one of the greatest wait staff ever. It’s always touching to be remembered by name and he nailed it every time. I especially like the way they have a cat house for the three cats they look after at the property. The two younger cats (Pinot and Noir) are very friendly. When looking for a place that has high standards in Colombo the Taj will meet your expectations every time."

"It's a beautiful 5-star property, centrally located, on the ocean, with a history of over 160 years, with excellent amenities, including salt water swimming pool, gym, and restaurant, where royalty, prime ministers, presidents, movie stars, and celebrities have stayed over the years. It's highly recommended."

"We checked-in to suite at Cinnamon life City of Dreams for two nights on our vacation. Cleanliness in the suite was excellent and the bed was very comfortable and a very quite atmosphere. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The Breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide spead. The pool was very clean and the pool staff was great. The Butler Service assigned for our suite was excellent too."

"We returned to this hotel because we liked it so much, and again loved the location and surroundings of it. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Due to the public holidays, it was very busy this time and the breakfast room seemed a bit overwhelmed, plus it was difficult to get a towel"
