Book Colon Bed & Breakfast

"was in one room that wasnt bad, was clean when i arrived and i was happy with it. 6 days into my stay the office calls and tells me i have to move rooms because she had another booking for a room that needed two beds. then was told that i had to wait til another room was clean before i could even put my things into a different room. after about two hours of waiting i finally got a different room.... it was the same style room, with two beds.. but in way worse condition than the first. and to top it all off the new room was right next door to two rooms that theyre actively renovating/working on so for the last 3 days ive heard nothing but saws and grinders and the workers hammering on things. to say im unimpressed with things here is an understatement. like why couldnt the people who arent already here and in a room get the room i was moved to for no reason??"

" We went to check in at your hotel and were hit with a heavy sign from a worker whose job wasn’t the front desk - she didn’t have code to help check us in and told us to come back in 15 minutes, that Megan the front desk worker had to run home to let her dog out. After waiting 40 minutes we decided to go to the store and get bathing suits. We come back to check in 2 hours from the first time we tried to and Megan was there to check us in but then told us after taking our payment and checking us in that the pool was closed. Megan was extremely rude to us about booking through a 3rd party and was little help with getting the issue resolved and refunded. Once we contacted the 3rd party they had to contact the hotel to get things going and they had to call 4 times to get through to her while we sat and watched the phone ring. Terrible experience."

"Room was not thoroughly cleaned there were items in drawer from previous guest. Pool water was a bit on the chilly side, but Dawn the Front desk gal is absolutely AMAZING! She remembers us every year that we book our stay. "

"The bed was so soft that I thought I was going to be swollowed up. The breakfast had stale bagels, no cereal, and no coffee. During check in the front desk tried to charge me for 2 extra adults and I had to explain to her that these are my 15 and 11 year old boys and they are added to the reservation as kids. She was going to argue with me when I told her they are tall but still kids. "

"No public hot tub. Pool was warmer than expected and loved it! Beadspreads had stains but otherwise clean. Would be nice to have breakfast times, wifi info, and check out times posted as well as inside the room,"
