Best Western nice but a couple changesPosted Nov 15, 2015
Nice place...good breakfast especially for kids. Hot tub was nice and hot. Only major issue was shower and pillows. Shower head was supersonic loud when at a temperature the human body could stand. I asked twice to have it fixed but it wasn't done despite two work orders. Pillows were way too thick...bring your own. Otherwise good stay and good value.

Very nice hotel for a reasonable budgetPosted Oct 18, 2015
I had a recent bad experience with a best western in Kansas before this trip so I was worried. However this hotel was much much better. Very comfortable bed, well located, nice TV, great bathroom with a nice shower. We didn't have breakfast here but it looked pretty standard. Very pleased. We will likely stay here on future visits.

Quick overnight stayPosted Oct 18, 2015
Overall very nice stay. Staff was delightful! Room was very clean and updated. Breakfast was much better than expected. Much better than the La Quinta down the street and much cheaper then the Hampton Inn.

Great hotelPosted Sep 29, 2015
The hotel is in a nice area off of the interstate. It is right behind the Dennys and Village Inn. It can be a little hard to get to when traffic is high, but not if you turn onto Harrison from a light instead of a turn lane without a light (you'll under stand when you see) A few reviews complain about the lack of an elevator, but it's two stories so it won't kill you. We carried two babies and our stuff and survived. Our room was really nice, it was a suite so it had a couch bed, fridge, and microwave. It was comfortable. Bathroom small, but managable. The pool was great, not too cold. Breakfast was pretty good. Overall, I liked it. My standards for hotels are simple - clean and to feel safe.

500lb Gorilla DoorPosted Aug 26, 2015 on Hotels
Horrible experience overall. Room smelled like mildew which got worse with AC/fan on. Opened window only to have tons of second hand cig smoke float in. Entrance door slams like a caged 500lb gorilla on coke keeping you up all night. Location is decent but hard to find through all the parking lots. Rooms were not that clean maids were more interested in gossiping than working!

Trip to Pikes PeakPosted Aug 21, 2015 on Hotels
We stayed for two nights. Although the front desk experience was a little odd as we seem to be asked more questions than normal, however once we had made it to our room, we found the room to be of the same excellence stand as other Best Western motels.
