Disappointing

Posted Nov 28, 2016
Pros: great location
Cons: almost everything.
Location: great location, you can get to everything really quickly.
Walked into the lobby and waited 30 minutes to check in.. Once checking in I read the sign that says they will put a hold on the full amount Plus $50 per day on whatever card you reserved with. In addition the daily charges on the room were, 1. the room rate 2. Room Tax/PIF $23 to $25 a night, and 3. *Facilities Service Chg Tran* $24 a night. So an additional $50 a night in addition to the $200 a night room rate. Now for the "upgraded" room, I paid extra for a view of the mountains since it was my 9year olds first visit. The view.. they moved us to the last building and onto the bottom rooms. so looking through the trees over the golf course we could see the mountains, but I do understand if we would have been in any other building we couldn't have seen the mountains. So, although pricey for the kids smile it was worth it for the extra charge. Now, the bottom row is in a VERY dark area! The lights are 4 to 5 feet from the door and when you are trying use the key card you are right in the way of the light, so it is IMPOSSIBLE to see the card slot!! Terrible!!! Lastly, twice!! someone knocked on our door at 3AM! Yes, that's two nights in a row. They knocked and knocked until we answered and then he said, luggage carry out. then without me saying anything he left! Looking through the key hole I couldn't see him. The desk the next morning had no clue what I was talking about.. EVEN the second night. I only took this one picture of the resort.

Beautiful mountain views

Posted Nov 22, 2016
Pros: Location, views, and friendly staff.
Cons: Crumbling stairs to our room. No convenient ramp by parking.
Upgraded to mountain view room, fabulous...a must. Hotel lobby and Elevations bar were excellent. Restaurant service was so-so, food was very good, although they served stale rolls. Expected more form this stature of resort. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Need to repair crumbling stairs, and didn't see a convenient ramp to pull luggage up to our floor.

Over all Great time

Posted Nov 7, 2016
Location: Great excellent spa, swimming in & outdoors, Golf, tennis on grounds within walking distance. There are several excellent adventures within driving.
I was in town for a conference the other hotel recommended Cheyenne Mountain to me, the overall was great. The only thing was they didn't have a shuttle to the conference witch was not within walking distance of hotel. Make sure when booking that you get in writing that they will have a shuttle.

Amazing views and incredible atmosphere

We've stayed here many times and each time is always a pleasure. The staff go above and beyond to make sure you have what you want and need. So many things to do. Great for families and kids but also for a couples retreat. I know I'll be back!

Great hotel

Posted Oct 17, 2016
Pros: Views/setting, friendly staff, amenities.
Cons: Bathroom area small.
Location: Great location - lots to do in Colorado Springs - zoo, Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak, Olympic Training Center, hiking, etc.
All hotel staff we encountered were super friendly - front desk, restaurant, spa, etc. We loved that the outdoor pool was still open in October as it was heated, loved the Alluvia spa, the kids enjoyed the buffet at the restaurant, and they also enjoyed the smores at the firepit out on the deck. Views were nice. Views from our balcony were also great. We liked the nice setting, nice amenities and the casual, friendly feel to this hotel and will be back.
