Golf / Tennis / Pool ganz nahe, Zimmer mässig

Posted Aug 21, 2016
Sehr nahe an wunderschönen Wandermöglichkeiten (15 min Autofahrt zu "Garden of the Gods" Naturschönheit). Restaurant mässig. Aussicht am Fusse der Rocky Mountains sehr schön. Empfehlenswert. An manchen Hochsaisontagen sind die Zimmerpreise jedoch sehr hoch und überbezahlt.

Pricey, but many choices

Posted Aug 19, 2016
The 3 pools and beach were nice. Evening fires on the deck were very relaxing. Bar was fine with good food. Would not recommend the main restaurant buffet. Much better choices elsewhere.

Beautiful Views

Posted Aug 15, 2016
We had a wonderful time and loved the beautiful views of the mountains, as well as the gorgeous landscaping. The heated outdoor pool was great, and we enjoyed seeing deer and bunnies around the grounds. The room was very clean and well maintained; it was perfect for our family of four. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Colorado Speings.

Declining Resort

Posted Aug 13, 2016
Pros: The location.
Cons: This facility needs a complete refurbishment or replacement to stay viable for the future. Your money is better spent somewhere else.
Declining facility overall. Not worth the high price. Our room was very disappointing with numerous small problems and frankly, it smelled bad. Many great resort values in Colorado. This is not one of them.

Overpriced

Posted Aug 10, 2016
Paid 2-3x the price as other hotels just as nice. Room wasn't anything what you'd think for the money, shower wouldn't drain, screen door was laying on the patio floor. Couldn't be more disappointed in myself for spending that kind of money for a room worth maybe half the price

Great location. Friendly staff. Beautiful View.

Posted Aug 9, 2016
Overall the Cheyenne Mountain Resort is a beautiful place to stay. The buildings themselves are older and there is some noticeable wear and tear; however, the staff is friendly and responsive. As most of our activities took us away from the resort, we did not utilize any of the amenities save for breakfast on our last day, which was good, but nothing special. I would say that unless you are planning to stay on site and use the golf course, tennis courts, pool and other amenities, your money might be better spent on off-site activities and less pricy accommodations.

Stay Away in Prime Summer Season

Posted Aug 5, 2016
This is a resort hotel and in Summer it is full of families and Children. Business travelers and couples will not have a good experience. The resort facilities, lodge, pools, gym and spa are excellent. The location, views and fresh mountain air are wonderful. Rooms are clean and nicely appointed. Problem is the room buildings are not constructed well. You hear noise from everywhere. If you are on a middle floor as were, the floor vibrates as you walk across the room.and the ceiling vibrates from people walking above. Trying to sleep you hear people walking and kids screaming in the halls and nearby rooms. We were tired and wanted to go to bed early. No way. Tried to use the A/C fan to drown out noise. The A/C fan rattled. We complained and asked for another room. There were none. They did give us a box fan which, along with a couple drinks, helped and we made it through two nights. Stayed once before not in prime summer season and it was OK.

Family vacation

Great place with a great view. The only issue we all had is the beds. They were very uncomfortable. A microwave in the room would be a great addition.
