Pros: computer looking for hotels near Manitou Springs,Co
Cons: Put one bar of soap somewhere near the shower and Kleenex by the sink area instead of by the shower or you could provide both.
Location: within walking distance to shops,,restaurants, any much more. Also close to Pikes Peak.
We had a very nice stay, everyone was so happy and seem to really enjoy their jobs. It always makes me feel comfortable.

A bit over priced. The bed was not very comforable

Posted Aug 28, 2015
Nice to have a complementary upgrade. Did not remember Manitou being so ridden with homeless people. Really detracts from the visit. Hotel food was good. Impressed with the amenities in the room (towel heater, toilet seat heater, steam shower, etc). The most friendly service I have seen. Very professional.

WOW!

Posted Aug 26, 2015
Pros: Everything.
Location: From the hotel you can walk all over Manitou Springs.
We made a booking through Expedia and were we surprised when upon arrival we were upgraded to a celebrity suite. The suite was amazing! We had 2 large sunny rooms, complete with fireplace, spa tub and heated toilet seat. The soap smelled wonderful. And unlike most fancy, upscale hotels, this one had free water bottles, free wifi and a fabulous complementary buffet breakfast in the main dining room. The staff is extremely friendly. There is an $8.50 charge per day for valet parking, but if you turn the corner and drive up the road a bit, there is free overnight parking on the street. The town is small and the hotel is well located for walking about. It is a historic hotel, so be sure to look at the historical photos in the hallway off the lobby. This is a lovely hotel so you will want to spend some time there before rushing out the door.

Great location, quaint hotel, but cramped & pricey

Posted Aug 16, 2015
This is an excellent location in Manitou Springs and it is a nice, quaint little historic hotel. ~$10 valet service is required for parking unless you want to park on the street. I'm always aggravated when parking is an additional charge, but this was not exorbitant. What did irritate me was the required $9 per person, per day service charge - which basically gets you turn-down service. I don't like having to tip everyone that helps with some insignificant thing, so I typically do it myself. Thankfully, they have an elevator. If you are a fan of tipping and carry a roll of 5's, you will enjoy this and will not have to lift a finger here. It is a fairly romantic hotel. The attached restaurant is one of the highest rated in town, but we wanted to get out and explore so never once tried it.

Charming hotel in the heart of Manitou, CO

Posted Aug 16, 2015
We had a great stay. Very nice and comfortable hotel. Walking distance to local shops and play ground. Food was great, hotel clean, and staff friendly. We stayed in the deluxe king with fire place and two person jet tub. It's a home away from home feel to the bedroom. Cliff house is where upscale hotel meets bed and breakfast. I would definitely recommend, but wish the price wasn't so steep. I would venture to say it should be $100 less than the price we paid per night.

Incredibly charming hotel - great location

Posted Aug 10, 2015
Pros: Location. Looks. Charm. PROFESSIONAL staff!
Cons: everything was perfect, except the sheets and bedding were just ordinary.
Location: lovely park just a block away along with all sorts of touristy shops. Manitou Springs is a beautiful little town adjacent to Colorado Springs.
Hotel was everything we imagined. The website is a very true representation of the facility. Fine dining. Not just a restaurant, but a destination dining experience. very attentive staff. have already made plans for a return trip.

Graceful vintage hotel in perfect location.

Posted Aug 6, 2015
Pros: Ambiance, location, veranda and staff.
Cons: Nothing really.
Location: Very short walk to main street in Manitou Springs. Lots of things to see, do a few minutes by car away.
Great stay at this hotel. As it is an old hotel, the bathroom facilities were a bit tight, but that is minor. Staff were great. Will definitely stay there next time in Manitou.
