Great stay!

Stayed 3 nights and it was very quiet around the hotel. Very clean, comfy, and convenient. Hotel is near restaurants and stores so didn't need to travel far. Also near all landmarks so that was a big plus!

overall good hotel, large nice size rooms, had minor discomfort in toilet running non-stop, and they never replaced the toilet paper so i had to call to front desk. breakfast was ok but nothing worth $15. over good stay

Nice stay. Hotel was nice. Big property. Was in a convient location, near I 25 and close to downtown.

Seemed high end ans was very comfortable

Was close to restaurants and across the street from a Tinseltown movie theater. Within walking distance to the Broadmoor World Arena. I've stayed in many similarly rated hotels that were not nearly as nice as this Doubletree! Both my wife and myself were very impressed.

This place a dump for the money. Under construction which I would like to have known. Would not have stayed there. Loss of $197.00

Service was minimal. Waited for the room for over 3 hours, check-in was at 3 however still waited for the room for 1 1/2 hours. Went to the buffet for breakfast, basically got chased out of there even when I was with company. Came to the room fridge wasn't plugged in, soup wasn't restocked even when we ran out. Made reservation 3 months ahead, called twice before I even came to get a room with a view. Yeah, didn't happen. So wouldn't recommend this to anyone. And it wasn't like I was in the room for majority of the time so I didn't need major service, still it would've been nice to have soup and enjoy my breakfast. Also, one great thing was the court yard where they have the nice fountain, it got turned off because they have a construction site where there is probably the only nice place to enjoy coffee.

In need of rehabilitation

Very disappointed!!!! The room was in desperate need of rehabilitation. The furniture was worn. The tub was worn through the porcelain coating. The nonslip pad in the tub was even stained. The carpet had worn traffic patterns. Mildew was evident whee the tub meets the floor tile. Don't pay for the breakfast buffet. You get a nicer place to stay at other less expensive chain hotels and a better free breakfast. This is my opinion, which I feel is accurate and fair given my experience. .

Do not stay on the first floor!

The first night of our stay was lovely, and I was very confused whey there were any negative reviews of the hotel. That promptly changed Tuesday morning and only got worse by checkout on friday morning. We were on the first floor, room 186. Every morning at 6am, the sound of people moving above us was so loud, it shook the walls in the room. The hotel's response the first time was that they would talk to the person above, but it continued, as new people checked in every night. The second time, they offered to "send an engineer" into our room to see if they could do something??? Ridiculous. Then they offered to move us. Doubletree, this is not a solution, this is an inconvenience. We should be moved, AND compensated, for not being able to sleep past 6am on our vacation for 4 straight nights. It is a giant pain to pack up all your things and move to a different room. We should have been compensated, whether by a free night or some sort of dining credit, for having had a poor night, AND been moved. But with 2 phone calls and a personal stop at the front desk at checkout, still, nothing was offered. We were not looking for a way to pinch pennies or squeeze free stuff out of the hotel. We were looking for our experience to be made right in some way. They will not see us again.
