Historic Manitou Springs vacation home in Manitou Springs Historic District, near Manitou Incline
This house shares river access and is a short walk from penny arcades, a zip line, shops, bars and restaurants in downtown Manitou Springs. The cabin itself has its own deck just outside the dining area and also has access to the wonderful river behind.The entire home has been remodeled with a new kitchen all new electrical, flooring and new bathrooms.Too tired to cook, no problem! A few blocks walk and you are right in the middle of town with all sorts of food and beverage choices not to mention great shopping and a penny arcade.

Super convenient
Super convenient home at the end of the main strip in Manitou Springs with reserved parking. Very convenient to Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak highway and North Pole amusement park. We were only there for 2 nights so I didn’t cook much but kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, small appliances. Nice refrigerator, dishwasher and stove. Would be nice if there were some basic spices, disposable to go cups, ziploc bags, foil, etc. Beds were comfortable but be aware the second floor bedroom has very steep steps to walk up. Skylights in the house are nice, you can see the stars at night. Well stocked with towels and the washer and dryer are new and laundry supplies were available. Restrooms are nice but I would like to suggest supplying shampoos and body wash. We traveled by plane for 3 day trip and only brought carryon luggage, therefore I couldn’t bring liquids (shampoos and body wash) so I had to go buy them and then throw away because can’t take on plane. There is road construction right in front so it’s a little messy on the roadway but that’s not their fault. Hopefully it will be completed soon. The little creek behind the home is lovely, there’s another cabin behind this one so you have to walk outside to see it. Owners were very responsive when we had a little issue with WiFi and TV but they got it working within a few minutes of contacting them. 😀

Vacation in Manitou
We enjoyed our stay at this home. Its location was great for us since we wanted to visit Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Red Rock Canyon, and others. The house is nice. It was great to come back to and get some R and R from our daily adventures. We did find the parking to be extremely tight for our vehicle. We have a Chevy Suburban. With the road construction going on, I had to go past the driveway amd attempt to back in between the house and two other cars so that I didnt have to try and back out and into tje street to get back out. We also didnt realize how clpce we wpuld actually be to the other two homes/cabins. Luckily they were being rented by people who seemed to be very nice and respectful. It was hard for us to truly relax and get away next to the creek when all of the occupants from the houses tried to go out around the same time. This would be awesome for family gatherings though. Two other issues we had we how narrow and steep the stairs are leading up to the second floor, and the half wall separating the second floor bedroom and bathroom, snd the first floor bedroom, bathroom, and laundry. At night you can see the people in the bathroom in the skylight reflection from the bedroom and laundry room. This make privacy interesting with others in the house. We did have a great time here. Communication with the property manager was very good too. When initially booking this house, had i known about the road construction right next to the house and the previous issues and price factor, I might have opted to stay in Colorado Springs / Old Colorado City area instead.

Great property! Riverfront, outdoor grill, proximity to town and rainbow falls. We'll stay there again!
