Excellent service from check in to check out!!! Room was very nice and roomy. Loved how the whirlpool was outside, we got to relax in the whirlpool and watch the eclipse at the same time. It was priceless!!! Definitely will stay here again with or with out our kids this place was great. one tip though ask for a room away from lobby ours was right next to the breakfast area and we heard everything. Which was fine because we were awake but for anybody who wants to sleep later this room would not be ideal for them.

Great location, convenient to everything we neededPosted Sep 25, 2015
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Our stay at the Hampton Colorado Springs was a very enjoyable experience. The room was always clean and comfortable. The most important thing that made our stay so nice was the staff. They were alway smiling and ready to help. We were full of questions ranging from where to get our truck washed to where to get my wife could get a massage. They also had good recommendation for where to get a good meal. The staff really made the stay enjoyable. We were always greeted with a smile wether we were coming or going. The staff would be the main reason we would recommend or stay at this property.

Pros: Front desk staff very nice.
Cons: Proper and correct reservations!!! Better food
Room was very disappointing. It was a King room called "Executive King", but there was nothing special about it. I booked a Queen suite - with 2 queen beds and didn't get that. I was told that Expedia booked the King Executive room for me - but upon checking with them - they denied that. VERY disappointing! Front desk staff were VERY nice and apologetic, but they couldn't help me. Room was dirty. I purposely left some items of trash on the floor in bathroom and living area --- they were not picked up. Sad.......... Breakfast was awful - cold too. Had to ask staff to replentish items at food bar.

Cons: faster drain in shower
Location: Can drive half hour on interstate to wherever you want to go.
Awesome breakfast, nice place to stay. Only wish they woud have not gave us handicap accesible. We would have rather had a normal room with a good shower that drained faster.

DisappointingPosted Jul 21, 2015
Pros: I liked the breakfast - The breakfast was well stocked and cared for - had a lot of selections to choose from.
Cons: Cleaner comforters, security, appropriate advertising.
Location: Don't know - just passing through - one restaurant that we saw.
The advertisement photo suggests that the hotel is looking east and backs to the west toward the mountains. Beware! This photo advertisement is incorrect. The hotel actually faces north and south and is located across the street from the mountains. In fact you can't really see the mountains from the hotel unless you go out and look to the west. I was disappointed in this upon my arrival because the photo suggested the hotel close to the mountains facing east and west - not so. If you're planning on staying at this hotel based on the location - think again. Our check in was fast and good but when we arrived in the room, one of the comforters had a stain of some kind on it. Not good. We asked for a new comforter and they did bring that. My sister and I went to check out the pool and the door to the outside street was propped open so anyone could come in - they also had the door by the hot tub propped open as well. When we tried closing it and opening it again - we saw that it was unlocked. We did tell the front desk but who knows how long the door had been open and what could have happened in the mean time. Very unsecured

Deceiving-Beware!Posted Jul 18, 2015
The picture Expedia posts is very deceiving - the hotel is on the east side of the interstate and it runs north and south - you can't see the mountains from there unless you step out and look to the west. So deceiving!! Our comforter was stained and dirty we had to have it replaced. I shared with the front desk how deceiving the picture is on Expedia and they said they had no control over it. If you're looking for a hotel with a great view this one is NOT it. However- we had a wonderful breakfast

nice hotelPosted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: It was much more affordable than the hotels that were closer to the attractions.
Location: it is not near most of the attractions in Colorado Springs, but is just off the interstate and the drive is not too bad to get too.
It is a good quality hotel in good condition. It is what you would expect at a Hampton Inn. Good quality and a good stay.

Road trip through Colorado SpringsPosted Jul 8, 2015 on Hotels
Great view! We enjoyed the breakfast and the snackpacks you handed us at check-out. We nibbled on the snacks during our road trip down to New Mexico. It was a great send off after a good nights sleep. Thank you!
