All of the staff was very nice, and our room was clean! The only thing is that you could here people outside your door and on each side of the room, so not very good insulation if your wanting to sleep in or have a little more privacy. We enjoyed our two night stay here, it's conveniently located close to everything! (15min to downtown and 10min to Garden of the Gods)

Receptionist was very nice, breakfast was forgettable, they have NO options for somone diabetic (except sugar free syrup). Nothing with protein so I couldn't eat those free breakfast. Ice machines were always empty and during our four day stay there we had a housekeeper once. On our first night we asked the receptionist if we got a house keeper everyday to which she said yes and would "note" for a full clean the next day. It didn't happen until our last night there. We have to restock our supplies twice ourselves via the receptionist. Overall hotel was fine but forgettable.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Clean the rooms, make the beds correctly without the tags near your pillows, make sure the bed linens are not stained.
Oh where do I begin. Maybe to save you time, skip this hotel so you don't have to read this long review. It started at check in with an air freshener in the lobby so strong it triggered a migraine out of my Husband. When we asked the front desk clerk why do they have it so strong, she said they just like it. Next, asked if there was somewhere within walking distance that might have a place to grab a drink. She told us to walk under the highway about a block or two, yet we find out there is a restaurant attached to the parking lot that had a full bar and a wonderful Italian restaurant on the back side of the hotel. We hope that the room did not smell as bad as the lobby, or at that point we were out of there. However having prepaid the hotel with Expedia, we felt stuck. Lesson learned never prepay a hotel to save 10 bucks if you have not stayed there. The carpet was stained and dirty other than that a very small room with a double bed. Oh lets talk about the bed, housekeeping made the bed with all the tags on the blankets near the pillows so I had to remake the bad so a tag wasn't rubbing my face all night. Thanks housekeeping for not paying attention to any detail at all. Also if you are a smoker make note there is no smoking on the property at all, yes that means outside and if you are caught they will fine you $250.00 and automatically charge it to your card on file. Needs follow up.

Door mechanism was busted. Spent 10- 12 minutes just trying to close door. Figured out the whole unit was sticking out just an 1/8 inch to far not allowing it to close. Toilet had to be flushed twice each time. Then while brushing teeth sink drain had huge leak n was standing in septic/ waste water. Threw down towels to make a dam. Went to breakfast and they were out of breakfast sandwiches. Told front desk im not complaining however here were issues. Said she'd give us a 50% discount. NEVER. Seen a dime.

It's okay and they keep it up as best they can, but this La Quinta is out of date.

Had a problem

We were in bed sleeping and someone tried to enter our room. Needless to say we were alarmed. We called the main desk and they said the people should have been in the room two floors up. Our question was why were they given a key to our room then? The staff really were careless in giving out a key to a room already occupied. Thank you for checking into this. This was the first time we have had this happen to us and we hope the last.
