Friendly staff. Clean. Breakfast wasn't great but it was good. The pool area was clean. They lacked in a "workout" room.

Hi Sarah, Thank you for the responding. We do offer a wide range of items for our breakfast. The hot items change daily, anywhere from cheese omelets and sausage patties, scrambled eggs and sausage links, and of course biscuits and gravy with sausage . Our fitness center has a treadmill, free weights, bicycle, and an elliptical machine. We are limited on space but if you feel this is not adequate for your needs there is a 24hr Fitness Center nearby that does provide complimentary guest passes upon request. Though we are not associated with them and this may be subject to change. I am happy that you enjoyed your stay and thank you for your rating. We hope to see you again. Motel seemed a bit dated. Elevator definitely needed paint. Breakfast was short of basic -cold donuts.

Bill, Thank you for your feedback with your most recent stay. Here at the Quality Inn South we do have on going renovation projects to keep up with the trending styles. I agree that the elevator does need an update but it is running great! I know the owners as well have future plans to update the elevator. The breakfast we offer is a Choice Brand standard, which is a Full Complimentary Breakfast that offers two hot items ranging from Scrambled Eggs and Sausage to Biscuits and Gravy with Omelets. As well as Fresh Boiled eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, and of course you can make your own waffle. We appreciate your business and thank you for staying with us. Overpriced mediocre motel

Was very expensive for the quality of the place. Rather run down, ugly decor, not entirely clean, bad location near highway. Parking lot views. Hot tub was so chlorinated that you could hardly breath. Pool was cold, shallow and seemed dirty. We left the pool area because of defening noise. No one on duty to keep out-of-control children from running wild or to insure infants had on swim diapers. Breakfast ended at 9:30 which was too early considering it was a vacation and a weekend so we wanted to sleep in a bit. By the time we were up and dressed and arrived at 9:35 absolutely every item was gone and the area completely cleaned so they must have started early clearing it away. Had to go out to breakfast which made the already high cost even more ridiculous. Could have stayed somewhere that didn't feel like a cheesy old motel for the same or better price.

Susan, I am sorry to hear you didn't feel our pricing was reasonable. However, we are the lowest priced hotel in our area. As well there is no lifeguard on duty in the pool facility. There are several signs indicating this and parents should accompany children under the age of 14 years old. If you, the guest, feel that the behavior of other guests are not being safe, please let us know immediately. We do encourage our guest with any concerns to make us aware of these at the time so they can be addressed. We are sorry for the miscommunication on the breakfast times, these hours are set and are posted in various areas in the hotel, please feel free to call the front desk to find out the hours of operations for our hotels amenities. Close to everything I needed.

The hotel staff was awesome. Especially Jennifer. Always had a smile on her face. Made you fell very welcomed. Was able to point us in the right direction for our activitys.

I cannot recommend this place

We had just come from a 9-hour drive in lousy weather.The first room we were scheduled to stay in was nearly impossible to enter or secure because the door didn't fit. So management moved us across the hall.That door fit better but the lock was not secure. The turn table in the microwave did not work. The coffee maker spit hot water at us. the curtains were 2" too long for the window and so looked and functioned unsatisfactorily. The television displayed a Direct TV menu but was not Direct TV at all. The fan in the bathroon was so loud it was annoying. The HVAC unit was about 35 years old and did not maintain a stead temperature. The wind came in through the poorly-sealed window. All in all, very disappointing and not worth nearly what I paid for it.

Good location. Nice room very clean. Coffee very good and breakfast was good. Room was clean and quiet.
