Beautiful Hotel

Air Condition went out when we got there. We were told they would send us some fans never received them. We had to go buy our own.

Smallest bathroom I've ever seen. Most excellent view. Wish I'd had a microwave. Vacuuming left a lot to be desired. Otherwise great.

Good walking distance around downtown

Terrible, no hot water in the morning, no bellman to take luggage , valet didn't know where car was parked , room hadn't been serviced when returned at 7 pm

Great View For Fourth of July.

The room I was an executive suite located on 13th floor facing west. The view was spectacular...once we pried the balcony door open. It was pretty stuck. It needs to be replaced. On the other side was a great balcony. About 10 x8 feet. Very nice. The room was 1970s architecture with 1990's furniture. HOHUM. The carpet was heavily stained. The bathroom was right and narrow. The water pressure was ok. The hot water was great. Typical towels and bathrobe and there was a very small fridge under the cable TV. If the room didn't have the view I would give it 2.5/5. Wirth the view it gets a 3.5/5. Watching the fireworks was a lot of fun and the weather was perfect. They need to fix that damn balcony door and clean or change outvthe carpet. The hotel itself reminded me a lot of The Broadmoor of Colorado Springs, well at least the lobby did. They also have a 24 hour gym and pool. They had just recently opened the new bar and lounge downstairs and the food and staff were excellent as well as the room service.

Room was very small and a/c was awful

The ice machine was broke on out floor and the shower was awkward causing me to flood bathroom. It's in a good spot downtown but downtowns are not always the best place to be.

Great Location

This was our first time staying here and location was great! Staff was very helpful and courteous! Located within walking distance of many restaurants and bars and would definitely stay here again but with a mountain view room! Only complaint I had was the gym was either moved or being worked on because it's not a view of the mountain as someone had posted but located downstairs... very pet friendly too!

Dated, ants in bathroom. Parking is troublesome and expensive.

Beautiful Hotel

Pros: Appearance, cleanliness, comfort, resturant
Cons: Internet access speed and reliability.
Location: Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Cliff Dwellings, downtown restaurants, Old Colorado City and more.
Stayed here with my family which included two grown children. This hotel is recently remodeled but maintains the charm of an older hotel. Rooms are extremely comfortable with excellent amenities. Convenient to local downtown food and Colorado Springs sight seeing and activities such as Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, etc. There was a refrigerator in room but no microwave. The Resturant is very good with an excellent breakfast buffet with omelet/egg chef. Everything we were looking for to return to after a day of exploring the area. The only negative thing I could find would be that the internet did not work real well, very slow and kept getting thrown off. This was more important to the kids than to me! I would definitely stay here again.
