Not impressed

Posted Mar 16, 2017
When I booked our room it said city view but when we walked in our room our view was of black tar rocks, electrical boxes and a wall. It immediately felt like we were in a box. They moved us to another room, not with the most friendly customer service, to the opposite side of the hallway down several rooms with a view of another roof with a much larger view of the rook and electrical boxes and beyond the tree limbs a faint view of the city. I hate complaining and was just ready to unload and relax. Shower filled up as we showered so it was more like a foot and ankle bath along with our shower. Pool was cold and hot tub was like warm.

Nice hotel but not worth the price

Posted Mar 12, 2017
The pics online seem like the rooms are a lot nicer than they actually are. I would have rather paid $60 more a night and stayed at the Broadmoor! Parking was awful and also costs $17 per day. Great location and room was comfortable but again, wasn't worth the price.

Downtown Dream

Posted Feb 8, 2017
Pros: The staff, the location, and the facilities.
Cons: The lobby wasn't quite complete on account of construction to improve the facilities, but I imagine that will resolve in another few months.
Location: Well there are plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars within a block of the hotel.
So from the lobby to the room, the Antlers is a very nice and well maintained hotel. I'm glad it switched ownership because it was not in the best shape prior to the Wyndham's ownership. The staff was courteous and friendly, and the room was very clean and comfortable. Not to mention the mountain views, it was fantastic.

A little shabby, room was sparse and lacked personality. Good location.

Best mountain view but too expensive

Posted Feb 3, 2017
During our stay the room was nice and the employees were welcoming. During our stay the company was having a party on our floor and was extremely noisy until midnight making it hard for my wife and I enjoy our 10yr anniversary in our room.

Thank you for your feedback on your recent stay with us. I do apologize about the group in-house who were renting one of our suites as a hospitality suite. I have brought this concern to our security team; as they do quiet groups in house if it is disturbing other guests and after 9:00 pm. We appreciate you staying with us and hope we will have the opportunity to accommodate you in the future for a quiet nights rest.

Did not like having to pay for parking every day. It's an older building. Staff was friendly. Jacuzzi was out of service.

Thank you for providing feedback on your recent stay. Unfortunately we do not own the parking garage and are unable to offer complimentary parking. Additionally I apologize about the hot tub being out. It had unexpected damage and needed to be fixed over the weekend. We are back up and running and hope you will be able to enjoy it in the future.

Pros: Staff was super friendly, great view, super pool, great food in bar.
Location: Downtown area activities, parks and food within blocks. Great pedestrian area.
Had a great stay and decided to extend it an extra day. Loved the pool spa area wit view of Pikes Peak.

Great Hotel at city center, gone to the dogs!

Posted Jan 10, 2017
Pros: The rooms have great views and the staff has consistently been very helpful and friendly over the years.
Cons: If they feel they must provide for the pet segment of the market, restrict the pets to a specific floor.
My wife and I have Stayed numerous times over the years due to it's convenience the hotels being within walking distance of our favorite restaurants and movie theater. Until this latest visit we always been completely satisfied with the hotel and staff. To our dismay the hotel now allows pets to stay with their guests. We were treated to an unwelcome wake up call compliments of a couple of whining dogs very close buy. We didn't expect that nor did we realize that pets are not isolated to one or two floors. They can end up in any room and to make things worse can be left in the room unattended during the course of the day. Unfortunately,as long as this policy with the pets remains in effect, I don't see us staying at the Antlers in future trips to Colorado Springs
