The overall experience was excellent. However, there are a few areas for improvement. There isn't a microwave in the room. The orange juice was watered down. The waffle batter was watered down.

Property was in disarray. In the process of being remodeled. If they were not finished remodeling they should never have offered rooms that were not completely finished. The new paint smell in our room was overwhelming and we had to sleep with the air on high to get air circulating so the smell would not be so bad. There was still drywall dust all over our bathroom walls and tub. We had to wait almost 25 minutes to be checked in, with 3 families ahead of us, before anyone even reported to the desk because they were the only one at the property, checking in people, cleaning rooms and bringing towels to guests. For the price it was ok. But definitely would not recommend.

The property is under massive construction. The room was clean but the laundry machines, ice machines and many other things did not work. The air conditioning in our first room didn’t work and in the second room it worked but not very good. No microwave in the rooms. Very limited outlets. Pool was open but it was cloudy and green. A water line outside of our first room busted on the second day of our stay. The breakfast was horrible and I don’t know what kind of milk they were serving but it didn’t taste right. The staff there were very nice and I don’t fault them for the bad experience but that hotel should not have been open yet. It’s not ready to be stayed at.

The potential for this property is there. Would have been nice to know renovations were going on… paint looks rushed as there are no straight paint lines anywhere! Fun colors but definitely sloppy job. Smelled like paint, and breakfast was all packaged items.. nothing fresh.

construction going on at all hours. asked the management 3 times to stop the noise and finally did. This place should not accept guests until all remodeling work is done. This Woodman Inn is about as bad as bad can get .

Apart from the power outlets connected to Tv, mini fridge and lamp stand. Not even a single remaining outlet to charge a phone. I had to request for microwave since the room didn’t have one, and had to unplug devices to connect it to power source. They also had a single trash can in the room, and non in the toilet.

I stayed for a week at this hotel and they were remodeling so it was noisy and occasionally dusty in the lobby. The staff was very friendly, but I rated it down because I did not receive any daily service of my room. I had to ask for coffee almost every day and by the fourth day I was out of everything-clean towels, Kleenex, toilet paper, and coffee. I wasn’t expecting my sheets to be changed because I was staying there the whole time, that part didn’t bother me, but not even poking your head in and refilling my coffee and clean towels was a little irritating. I did utilize the pool and it was nice and warm,I was in Colorado Springs for a knee procedure and the pool was a nice amenity. The breakfast looked great although I didn’t eat it while I was there. They had hot and cold cereals, juice, milk, fresh fruit, waffles for you to make with The self serve waffle maker. So for a family that would’ve been a really nice breakfast to start with. Also, Expedia doesn’t tell you that there is deposit when checking in for this hotel. Also I booked everything through Expedia as a package and went through dollar car rental. they charged a deposit which Expedia didn’t talk about either so be prepared when you’re booking through Expedia to have large deposits required for the hotel and car rental. I did not come with very much but thankfully I had a credit card that I never use and was able to put the deposit on that.

I wasn't even sure that the hotel was open because the fabric sign tacked over previous name was sloppy and falling down. There were pallets and old sheetrock and a trailer all outside the front entrance. I understand that they are under construction, but the picture on their website of a beautiful stylish kitchen/entrance is very misleading and there was no indication that there was construction going on; they should have disclosed that. The phone charger in our room did not work so I had to plug in my own. Breakfast the following morning was not good at all, the eggs and sausage were cold and the waffle batter was too runny. We passed by there a couple of times during breakfast hour and no one had bothered to clean the counters or tidy up. During my 4-day stay, there was no maid service, no one offered to tidy up our room or take out trash. I'm sure very soon this will be a beautiful hotel, but in the meantime they should disclose that they are under construction and that would have given us a heads up. The one thing I have to say is the staff was very polite and very friendly. Thank you
