Great place for families with young kids!

Posted Aug 12, 2017
Pros: Large well kept grounds and great pool area.
Cons: Condos were loud - we could hear people running up and down the stairs and yelling til very late in the night.
Location: Great location, close to West Glacier, rafting, horseback riding, etc.
We rented a condo at the Meadow Lake Resort as our base to explore Glacier National Park. The condo was great, all linens, towels and kitchen supplies were provided. There is no daily room cleaning in the condos, but there is washer and dryer. We loved having a kitchen. The resort itself is very pretty. The pool and hot tub are fantastic. There is a large outdoor pool and an indoor pool as well. One day they served ice cream at the pool, the kids loved it. The resort offers ping pong, foosball and shuffleboard. The bar and grill food was delicious. Highly recommend!

Great location good staff

Posted Aug 2, 2017
The hotel is nicely located near every thing, Glacier National Park, Kalispell and Whitefish. The room had a few issues but overall was nice and kept very clean by an excellent staff. The air conditioning was difficult to regulate and bathroom had poor lighting. Would recommend this hotel

Nice place; met all of our needs.

While we were there for only two nights and we did a quick tour through Glacier National Park, it was a very pleasant place to stay. The staff was helpful, their quick breakfast place to grab typical breakfast items provided very tasty and quality items, and enabled us to get a good start for the day and still make our tour reservation in the Park. The evening we arrived, we enjoyed the patio area for a leisurely drink and the view of the resort's beautiful golf course.

Great hotel!

Cons: Better sofa bed, or some rooms with two beds. Air conditioner was very loud and right next to bed.
We had a great stay. We were there to visit Glacier National Park. While the hotel is a bit far (almost 1/2 hour) there aren't many other options as nice as this in the area. Everything about the place was very nice and better than we expected. The restaurant is good, too. Plenty of good places to eat nearby. Great pool and water park. Only gripe was the pull out bed. It was a bad one and very uncomfortable, so our 11 y/o ended up in the King size bed with us.

Loved it

Great place to play golf while kids are entertained. Can go to Glacier and still be back for a late round of golf. Not crowded, nice condition, tight course. Just wish the restaurant stayed open past 9:30. You can golf until almost 10:00pm in the summer, so it would be nice to be able to grab a bite afterward instead of driving to the grocery store.

Nice place but for a family. Main activity is golf

Posted Jul 10, 2017
Time share comes to mind. No family activity except a game room. Limited food doing the day and one resteraunt at night. Give me a one time fee of 40,000 and Yearly maintenance fee of 500.00 and I will get you a one week stay. Prices are an estimate.

Nice getaway for the whole family!

Pros: The hotel is located on the golf course, and the view is very peaceful especially early morning. Nice surroundings in a quiet resort setting.
Cons: The air conditioners could be less noisy when in use. It would be much convenient if they serve some good food for breakfast.
Location: The location of the hotel was great. It was convenient to go Glacier National Park or nearby towns.
We had a family get-together in a few years there. One of our daughter and her son joined us after 3 day had passe, but we found out that their studio room was not available, so the staff told us that it was going to be in a different building which was about 10 minutes away from us. My daughter got settle down the so-called upgraded condo, and I decoded to make a statement that it wasn't un upgraded at all as it was inconvenient for all of us, not expecting that they would change my daughter's room. Later, I got call from the same staff, asking if my daughter wanted a room in our building. She felt awkward as she and her son got settled down already and didn't feel like moving again. It was nice for the staff probably had talked with her boss, and they were going to give us real upgraded room (standard room) to my daughter, but they could have done it from the beginning. My husband and I enjoyed walking around the blocks near the hotel every morning, and our families enjoyed swimming, cycling and playing tennis.

Quite Clean Place

Posted May 30, 2017
I would highly recommend this place to stay, and if I'm in this area again I would stay here. The rooms are very nice, the staff is nice and being on a golf course the grounds are very well kept. It is quite at night and the bed was very comfortable. I knocked off one star because of two things; 1) they held a very high deposit (double the room rate we paid) which seemed too much to me and 2) the water sprinklers outside our room came on around 5am - I understand they need to water early in the morning but it being right outside the room it woke me up.

Uggh!

In all my years of travel and staying in hotels, I've never had such a frustrating experience. I took my daughter to Glacier Park to go hiking on Saturday. We took a long hike and got back to the hotel around 4:30 p.m. We decided to clean up and then take a nap before going to dinner. Shortly after I took a shower and laid down the fire alarm went off. Now, I understand this happens, but when the alarm (which was extraordinarily loud) didn't go off and the front desk called and asked us to leave the room I got up and went outside. Not one employee told us what was going on or how long to expect to have to be outside, no one even talked to us. We eventually just went to dinner and a movie (totally exhausted). When we returned at around 10:30 p.m. I went straight to bed. Around midnight the fire alarm went off again and when it didn't go off an employee came by and pounded on the door and told us we had to go outside. Again, no one gave us any idea of how long we'd have to wait or what was going on!!! I couldn't believe the lack of communication. We were eventually let back in and I got to sleep around 1 a.m. Again, I understand that things like fire alarms can happen, but to happen twice in one day and for there to be no communication was unbelievable. The next morning when I checked out the front desk didn't say a word about it. I was and am very upset with this experience and would not recommend this resort.
