Nice hotel near GNP

Posted Sep 8, 2017
Pros: location, lot of parking and easy to get to HWY2 and GNP
Cons: Shower & Bath room too small and old. Bed and mattress are below average, need to get better mattress for people since they charged us over $200/nigh
Basic hotel - Below average amenity but roomy and clean. Kind of old on everything. Good location with excellent accessibility to HW2 and GNP.

Dirty,dirty dirty.

Posted Sep 4, 2017
I've stayed in 2 star motels that were cleaner and nicer than this motel. Cockroach in bed, sinks wouldn't drain and were extremly dirty. Spotty wifi because we were so far from main building. Would not recommend.

I'm sorry you were unhappy with your stay, although we do not have cockroaches on this property, nor are they very common in MT, may have been a common stink bug.

Rated 3 only because of very nice, helpful staff

Posted Aug 30, 2017
Pros: staff and proximity to the Glacier NP also, even though not up to comfort standard, the room and hotel were clean
Cons: insulate walls for better noise cancellation, update furniture and add some proteins to breakfast (eggs, cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, nuts)
Location: Relatively close to Glacier NP so plenty of hiking; also zip-lining; horseback riding, whitewater rafting, biking, fishing
Old furniture including horribly uncomfortable mattress (which became really obvious after a day of hiking); ancient microwave taking twice the amount of time than usually needed; wobbly closet doors that kept coming out of the sliding frame (watch your toes!); damaged TV screen with black streaks and spots; paper-thin walls that made it nearly impossible to sleep between a room of night owls (not partying but simply talking late at night) next to us, early birds above us and a parking lot in front of our room with people coming and going; not a true breakfast, just pastries (mini donuts and muffins) and coffee/tea. Positives: very nice staff and decent size fridge.

Nice Place for visiting Glacier National Park

Posted Aug 28, 2017
Pros: Proximity to GNP and price.
This comfortable motel is clean and rooms are comfortable. Its an older property that has been well maintained. Neat teepees, cabins and yurts are available too.

Pros: Close to Glacier National Park. Then I realized how accommodating and friendly the staff was. The whole complex is family friendly and very clean.
Cons: Room 14 - no bedside nightstands. So we used a chair, which worked perfectly.
Location: That area has so many attractions to attend.
Nice and clean facility. The room decor is wonderful, with nice beds. The bathrooms may seem to be old style, but enjoy the history of the complex..The whole facility is very welcoming and family friendly. I would recommended it to others, and we will probably stay their again for our next trip to Glacier park.

Close to the NPS

The room was nice. The breakfast didn't have much and only had water and coffee. They never came to fill the water. We enjoyed the mini golf.

It was OK for one night.

Posted Aug 23, 2017
Pros: The specialty syrups at the coffee bar in the morning were a nice touch. I loved the bed frames.
Cons: I am not sure the smell of the rooms could be improved. It was like an old musty building smell. The mattresses were terrible.
Location: It was a good location in route to Glacier National Park.
We only were at this hotel for one night and that is probably about all I could have spent. If we were to travel again we would choose somewhere with more bang for our buck. We traveled with our two young children and they both enjoyed the grounds. The beds were very uncomfortable. The rooms had a musty smell to them. We were aware of the muffin and danish breakfast so that wasn't a surprise as far as not meeting our expectations. The tepees were a fun addition to the grounds, as well as the mini golf and dirt pit for the kids. There was a nice little play ground a ways away as well.

Great location for Glacier NP.

Posted Aug 23, 2017
Pros: Double queen rooms have separate bedrooms for each bed. Location near Glacier NP. Large grounds with comfortable chairs and tables outside.
Cons: Better breakfast options at the hotel.
Location: About as close to Glacier NP as you can get without being in the park--a half hour drive.
This is a great location if you are not able to find lodging inside Glacier NP, as we were not because we started looking too late (in January for an August visit). Having two separate bedrooms per room, each with a queen bed, was nice. It would have been nice to have breakfast options at the hotel other than the muffins, breakfast bars, and apples provided (at no additional cost). Maybe cereal, toast/bagels, yogurt. A few in our party (of 10 people in three rooms) wanted more, so we went out for breakfast in Columbia Falls and found long waits and backed up kitchens, delaying our jaunt into Glacier NP each day by a couple hours.
