Think Twice

Posted Nov 25, 2017
My family and I stayed here Thanksgiving night. I had a lot of difficulty getting through to the hotel to request a late check-in, but the front desk person was quite nice once we got through (it took 4 phone calls for that to happen, though). Check-in was easy, and they put 3 of our rooms near each other. The condition of the rooms was quite disappointing. My room was decent; the only issue was that the tub faucet dripped. My brother’s room was pretty awful; the dishwasher had obviously broken, so there was an open space where one should have been, the glass in the picture in the bedroom was cracked, there was trash left on a table, and when the sofa bed was opened, Doritos fell out. There was also a dirty washcloth left in the bathroom. The other two rooms had little things, like light switches and lamps that didn’t work. The most disappointing thing was that there was no breakfast the next morning. When you have 11 people staying at a hotel, breakfast there is convenient so that you don’t have to go out. We didn’t expect much- muffins, bagels, granola bars would have been fine, but apparently their vendor didn’t drop anything off that morning. Coffee was provided after we asked about it. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I won’t stay at this hotel again, and most certainly will think twice about staying at an Extended Stay again. Not even worth the $100 a night per room.

Ok experience but I wouldn't stay here again

Posted Nov 24, 2017
The room was clean, it just needs to be updated. The breakfast was only coffee and tea, but no hot water for the tea. The cups were not as clean as it should be. The front desk girl was nice and since it's Thanksgiving, the staff was limited

Skechy

Posted Oct 29, 2017
Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: Renovate the hotel. Replace the management team. Hire all new employees.
Location: Great restaurant nearby - The Stanford Grill.
This hotel obviously hasn't been renovated from the days when it was a smoking hotel. Sketchy people roaming the hallways and hanging out near the front door in the middle of the night. Bolt on door didn't align with the door jam, so it was useless. Clientele apparently steal things from the room, because despite being a long-stay hotel, you have to request a coffee maker, toaster, plates, bowls, cutlery, and everything else for the kitchen from the front desk. Coffee in the morning was a joke. No sugar or regular creamer- just artificial sweetner and flavored creamer. Breakfast was a granola bar. No housekeeping or linen service the entire week I was there. The front desk is rarely staffed during non-business hours. This is because the front desk person is either sleeping in a closed room adjacent to the front desk or taking out the garbage and doing other assorted tasks. Calling the front desk and letting it ring for 10 minutes -- long enough to walk down to the front desk and answer the phone myself -- was pointless. I had to roam the hallways looking for someone. Never stay here.

The pillows are way to flat an the too of the shower wall was filthy. The free breakfast only consist of coffee an muffins an granola bars. The sofa bed doesn't cone with sheets or pillows or blanket.

Thanks for providing your feedback. We apologize for the issues you had with our in-room amenities and for your disappointment with our grab-and-go breakfast. Please note due to various local city/health dept. codes, the sofa beds are not made up in advance and must be made at the time of use. We hope you’ll give us another chance to better serve you on a future date. Sincerely, Hotel Management

Not impressed

Posted Sep 29, 2017
Cons: The rooms need to be upgraded.
On arrival outside looks good. But the inside of the room was disappointing. I felt like I was in a motel instead of a hotel. For the area I think they need to upgrade the rooms. We had to go to the front desk to get the dishes. This seemed ghetto to me. Its an extended stay and I think guests should feel like they are in their home away from home. THe dishes should be in cabinets not at the front desk.

Good stay but could be cleaner and maintained

Posted Jul 30, 2017 on Hotels
Great location, room was dirty on arrival but cleaned on request. Good size room, ok wifi and to go breakfast. Hallway had a large gap in ceiling next to room, no big issue just looked odd. Overall good price-quality-size, but could be kept cleaner.
