BedBugs

Posted Nov 29, 2017
My fist room was riddled with bedbugs. My body was covered with bites. The attendant at the front desk was not surprised, he stated he receives calls and complaints all the time for the same reason. The attendant also stated they lose a lot of customers and was contemplating quiting due to the lack of cleanliness. Horrible experience.

Better from the outside

Posted Nov 27, 2017
Pros: The outside was pretty
The breakfast was not as advertized. The carpet was horribly frayed and stained. Stains in the bathtub created an uncertainty of the cleanliness of the bathroom. The refrigerator was gross, both inside and out.

Not Satisfied

Posted Nov 24, 2017
Pros: I liked having a kitchen and the layout of the room was good for the time we had to be there.
Cons: Clean or replace the carpets, repairs where needed walls, bathroom vanity, Kitchen cabinets, a good cleaning of whole room not just a once over.
Location: Location was good everything we needed was near by, area was iffy would not go out after dark unless necessary.
1st rm 112 appeared dirty & in need of repair, was moved to rm 116 was cleaner but still had repair needs. Carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced, tub had stains on wall and bottom of the tub, kitchen floor was a bit sticky to walk on,The bathroom sink was clogged with a bar of soap would not drain, i fixed that, bed linens were rumpled looking like they had not been changed since the last guest, and the table on the left side of bed wobbled almost caused the lamp to fall. The room was comfortable other than the above mentioned but i would not recommend it until it had a good make over. The staff was pleasant and did their best to accommodate our needs, have no complaints about them.

Okay of you want cockroaches for roomates

Posted Nov 23, 2017
The bed okay but the linen had dog hair, I killed a total of 4 roaches over 3 nights. I slept with the lights on to distract the bugs from hopefully coming out.The elevator is dirty and scary to ride in. I kept waiting for it to drop. No housekeeping. If it weren't for just needing a room for my sons boot camp graduation I would have rather slept in my car. And it seemed to be a pretty scary part of town. So I deadbolted and locked the door behind me everytime I came in and carried pepper spray with me. The hotel clerk was great. Breakfast consists of instant grits or oatmeal. Tea or coffee and a single honey and oats granola bar. So not stay here..... Or in this part of town. You truly get what you pay for.

Worse Hotel Ever

Posted Nov 5, 2017
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
The courtesy of the staff was minimal. Small amenities are not in the room, you have to ask for them and go to the office to get them. There’s no overnight services. Our iron did not work and it was not replaced. The breakfast is grab and go not continental. We got no sleep because of the noise (traffic mostly).

Sandra, we apologize our hotel and amenities were not to your expectations. Our hotel is designed for guests staying a week or more at a time, who prefer a home-like living experience. So we certainly understand why you may have found our amenities a bit different than traditional hotels. We hope to have the opportunity to redeem ourselves on a future date. Terrible Experience

Posted Nov 3, 2017
Pros: We liked the location very much.
Cons: This motel needs to be updated and cleaned!!!!
Location: Great location for stay after USC ballgames.
Corporate Manager should visit this location immediately. We were assigned three different rooms during our stay. We could not stay in the first room because the door had been left open. The second room had not been cleaned. The third room had been cleaned, but the kitchen floor was very sticky. We heard noises outside the room around nine that night, and there were three police cars in the parking lot. Chicken bones and trash were down the walkway to the room, and the yard was full of papers and other debris. Staff tried to be helpful, but seemed to be frustrated by circumstances!! Extended Stay-Fort Jackson is in a great location, but this visit was terrible!!!!!!
