Never again at this location

After calling the hotel for the free shuttle, we sat outside in the pickup area for 35-40 minutes waiting for it to arrive. I called the hotel front desk three times, each time being told he "was on his way". The driver who showed up, although he was well dressed, his personal appearance and hairdo was not impressive and with that on top of our long wait, with no apology, we knew we booked the wrong hotel for the one night stay. Front desk check in and check out were friendly. The hallway to the room was filthy. The room had a bad odor coming out of the very noisy in-room AC unit. The room was small and the furniture and fixtures were poor quality. We were shocked to see this is how low Hampton Inn has become. We saw evidence of poor management everywhere. The noise from the highway was a bother, but the worst noise was that loud AC unit when it kicked on.
