The first non-smoking room smelled like smoke. The toilet was broken. The second room provided still smelled like smoke but we accepted it for the night. when turning down the bet the sheets had cigarette burns in them. When we called the front desk they said they could do anything and suggested we call the corporate office.

A 3.0 price for a 2.0 hotel
Even with the discounts from Hotels.com, our overnight stay came in at just under $140. We were on second floor of an old building with outdoor stairs with uneven treads. When we went down for breakfast nothing was working. No coffee, no juice, no waffles. The poor guy working the desk had to run check the breakers. Yup, that was it. Nothing terrible. Just nothing to recommend it.

Not clean or comfortable.
The floor was sticky. We were in a non smoking room, but it still smelled like cigarettes and there were visible burn holes on the top “comforter”. The bathroom sink had hair in it and the shower’s tub looked dirty. Also the baseboards in the bathroom were really dusty as if they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The freezer was iced over, smelled and there were remnants of food in it. Noise control was an issue one night with people partying a few doors down and talking loudly. The bed was very stiff and uncomfortable, and the pillows offered no support. I left with horrible neck pain. Overall not a great stay. I really booked to save money but it just wasn’t worth it. The staff was nice, despite the hotel cleanliness.

It was what you’d expect. You get what you pay for. My only main complaint was the pathetic breakfast. No liquid creamers for coffee seemed ridiculous. You can’t claim to provide breakfast when your only options are a few donuts and instant oatmeal.

We want our guests to enjoy their stay and find our AC and heat amenities to be clean and in perfect working condition. Our ultimate goal is for our guests to be comfortable both in the summertime, and in the winter. Our maintenance staff has a regular schedule dedicated to checking the working order of appliances, the state of the furniture in the rooms, and bathroom fixtures. I am sorry that we failed to do this during your most recent stay. I am especially upset to hear that the situation was not addressed right away.

At the time of booking, there was only a Smoking room available so we understood there would be a cigarette smell in the room. That was entirely fine and understood. We only needed the room as a place to sleep in between attending an event so none of the issues we came across had a tremendous impact on our stay. That Said - The lamps in the room almost all had tears or holes in the shades, the bedcover had at least one cigarette burn, The sheets had some small stains, there were what looked like scorch marks on the ceiling near the shower, the bathroom vent/fan was covered in grey dust, the tub faucet ran constantly, there was hair in the tub when we got there and a half used roll of toilet paper by the commode. There were also mysterious brownish stains on the floor near the window and the bed like something was spilled and had dried there. We just bleached the tub, lysolled and Clorox wiped the other surfaces, and wore shoes if we weren't in bed. If you need an inexpensive place with free wi-fi to sleep - it's fine.

We do our best to ensure that smokers do not smoke in our nonsmoking rooms or common areas, both of which result in a bad musty smell; and when a situation like this occurs, we try to address it immediately, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting to restore the clean smell of our accommodations. Guest satisfaction is top priority at our hotel; for that reason, we truly appreciate your feedback about the guest experience at the hotel. We do not allow smoking in common areas at all and we will be implementing stricter measures in the future. Thank you.

Forget the breakfast.
My husband and I came down for breakfast and there pretty much was no breakfast. There was 1 yogurt. No cereal, no milk. 2 bagels in the case with 1 package of peanut butter crackers, and a granola bar. Even the coffe maker was bad. It tasted like instant coffee. The whole place was deserted. No guests anywhere. We had to get the manager to ask for another yogurt which she did get. When I asked where is the breakfast they are supposed to have she said they just have grab and go breakfast. The rooms are refurbished from when it wAs a holiday in. At check in the map we were given for finding our room said Holiday Inn. I asked how long since it was a Holiday Inn and the clerk said they had no idea. Dont bother staying here. Not worth wasting your money. We had to get breakfast elsewhere.

The floor looked and felt like a roller coaster. They listed “breakfast as an amenity and the literally had a couple of pastries sitting out. The coffee was so weak like colored watered. I’ve stayed at many hotels before, if you list breakfast it’s not continental breakfast!!! Very angry about this. Many other hotels in area, buyer beware!

There was a gap between the door and the floor which allowed leaves and twigs to come into the room. Lots of rusted areas, especially in the bathroom. Very poor water pressure. Every time we left and came back our key wouldn’t work so we had to get it reset 6 times. The people at the front desk were friendly.

The sheets had worn holes and stains on them. The bedspread also had stains on it. I couldn't tell if the floor was clean because it was a vinyl floor and a dark color. The bathroom had rust stains in various places. It was not worth the price I had to pay for a room.

Only stayed 20 minutes. They stated i requesred a smoking room which FYI, hotels.com did not show on the listing. Was with my family of 4. No other rooms available in the town so we tried it. The person at the front desk was beyond rude when i asked if there were any non smoking rooms. The smell was horrible and there were stains on both beds, on was dark red and appeared to be blood. In the room for 5 minutes, another couple entered with a key! To our astonishment, the front desk woman gave a couple our same room, mere minutes after giving it to us. When we confronted her about that and the stains, she said she would be right with us... and then did not come back. I immediately went to the front desk myself, returned the keys, and checked out. I've requested a refund from hotels.com for this $160.00 20 minute stay! Have not heard back, of course. This was an absolute nightmare and would never recommend suoer 8 columbia TN to anyone. 10/14/2022

Room was clean (although there was a slight smoky odor) and staff were friendly and helpful even late at night. The complementary breakfast was a joke - 40 minutes before it was scheduled to close, the only food available was twinkies. Parking was scarce late at night; there is a smashed up abandoned car taking a parking space in the back that hasn't been removed. The hotel room door was finicky and took some effort to click shut from outside. The ice machine was inaccessible because buttons were missing from the lock pad on the door.

Hello Zachary, I am very sorry that you smelled smoke - of any kind - at our property. We do our best to ensure that smokers do not smoke in our nonsmoking rooms or common areas, both of which results in a bad musty smell; and when a situation like this occurs, we try to address it immediately, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting to restore the clean smell of our accommodations. Guest satisfaction is top priority at our hotel; for that reason, we truly appreciate your feedback about the guest experience at the hotel. We do not allow smoking in common areas at all and we will be implementing stricter measures in the future. Thank you.

Horrible service and not able to accommodate
I did not stay. My reservation was all messed up - I requested ground floor as I was traveling with my dog and I have a bad a shoulder so hard to carry luggage. Was offered ground floor but for an additional $40!! I did not stay!
