We stay here because close to the water falls we want to go this place is clean good service with free breakfast recommend to stay here we are travel with pet so we got the room from the first floor the bad thing some one stayed above us walked Heavy from 6 pm to 10 pm not stop if you hard to fall sleep don’t stay on the first floor our room have balcony look out the Columbia river so beautiful

We just love staying here in a river view room. I love watching the trains go by below me and the barges on the river. The Bridge of the Gods is also a beautiful part of the view. We enjoy eating at Thunder Island Brew Pub just a block away and the free breakfast at the Bridge Restaurant next door is wonderful. We had biscuits and gravy in a both on the riverside. We forgot our swimsuits this trip, but usually enjoy the hot tub. The front desk staff were very friendly. We stay here every chance we can.

The staff was amazing, extremely helpful, and very nice! The hotel is very clean, the room is very nice, and the view is so worth it! This place is better than advertised!!

The view form our room was wonderful - looking out on the Columbia river and the Bridge of the Gods. The staff was super friendly and helpful. would love to go back again.

Wasn't there very long. The front desk lady was awesome!!!!! She helped with everything that my dog (178 lb great Dane) needed. Plus the view from our balcony was spectacular!!

Paper thin ceiling. Loud freight train right outside window, blowing horns all day long. Smell of vomit emanating from HVAC blower unit. How did this place have such a high rating? Never again!

Pros: Nice staff. Gorgeous river views. Rustic lodge decor. Keurig and fridge in the room. Breakfast at the restaurant next door. Cons: Super high beds are difficult to navigate. Active train traffic.

I was in the area for a funeral. A college student, my family was staying over at the lodge and they had no rooms so i booked through expedia a room here. When i arrived i had been awake for almost 24 hours and emotional from the events that day. They had no record I booked a room through expedia. I showed them my PAID reciept and everything on my phone app & they STILL wanted me to pay AGAIN for the room. After going back and forth for about 1/2 hour I finally just drove back to the airport and caught the first flight out. I was EXTREMELY disapointed. All i wanted was to sleep.

Wonderful hotel, super pet friendly. Even had an area to potty the dog. Beautiful pathway to walk and enjoy the sights of the Columbia river. Also has an amazing, FREE coffee machine that could make lattes/mochas and man was that nice! There is only one issue I had which was the "free breakfast". You get a card that says you're a guest at the hotel and go next door to this cute restaurant. But that restaurant limits you to some really poor breakfast options. Which wasn't the end of the world, can always order something outside of the hotel options. I was extremely disappointed that the restaurant didn't offer a discount of some sort if you stray from the hotel options. I don't know how the restaurant charges the hotel but I sure hope it's not prior to people eating there. So basically what I'm getting at, it's not your typical continental breakfast style you're probably use to in hotels. Expect to still pay for food.

I am still waiting to speak with the manager about my absolutely awful experience with this horrible woman who was working the night we checked in. I’ve stayed at this hotel probably 15 times over the last few years and NEVER had an experience like this before. She was the most hateful, petty, condescending woman I’ve spoken to in a very long time. I’m not sure we’ll ever stay there again… it was THAT awful.

The beds were incredibly comfortable. The free breakfast at the restaurant next door is a very nice touch! We come to the area at least two to three times a year for a rabbit show across the river in Stevenson, Washington and will definitely pay the extra cost to stay here again.
