Look of hotel was fine. Trying too hard to be millennial cool. Bathroom wasn't quite clean enough. Someone else's hair on sink, dirty grout/mold in shower. Service was okay at check-in. Lame at check-out, when I was told by employee untangling personal necklace for four-plus minutes if I wanted to hand in key I should wait for female desk attendant helping other client. The worst service I've had had a hotel when I called to inquire about $50.00 incidental charge appearing on bank statement when I arrived home. In my mind incidentals means staff has card on hand to charge for a product or service you used-- not a safety deposit for potential "damage" to room. This charge may take 5 or so days to clear. I expressed I had never had such a charge at any level hotel I've ever used and that I felt that was unacceptable. I was literally laughed at by the young woman answering my phone call. I proceeded to ask, "Are you laughing at me?" To which she answered, "Yes." Worst hotel service ever. I guess this hotel chain is targeted at younger clients who "destroy" their rooms. Funny, everyone I saw was older than I am-- 50--plus. Avoid at all costs.
