My room had a pugnant odor. I had to buy a bottle of Frabreeze to resolve the issue. I had booked a mutli-day stay. On the morning of my first stay, a note had been slid under my door stating that due to COVID, guests staying more than one day were not eligible for daily room cleaning. If I had any needs I had to call the front desk. Yet the second day, I saw two people cleaning rooms. Why was my room exempt from this service? There were signs either my room had been previously broken into or at least an attempt was made. Pieces of the door around the latch had been picked away. The hotel desk is protected by plexiglass. The lights are off behind the desk, thus you can’t see staff sitting back there. The continental breakfast was not being served. So no room service, no continental breakfast, yet no reduction to my fee. Is this an industry wide thing? I would not recommend staying at Best Western in Pickerington.
