Nice hotelPosted Sep 19, 2015
Close to OSU. Quiet comfortable room. Breakfast was okay. One down side was the lack of restaurants close by.

Pros: Breakfast and pool
$40 to expensive for this room, can and have found a airbnb for next time and will continue until your prices become more reasonable.

Lowered Expectations!!!!!Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: The name, which is clearly misleading. That hotel was anything but comfortable.
Cons: The lack of staff, fully working amenities, and more available rooms when issues arise.
Location: Lots of highway, garbage, empty buildings and noisy trucks.
Upon checking in I noticed the area surrounding the hotel was seedy, although about 5-10 minutes to the downtown area the hotel is clearly in the less than desirable neighborhoods of Columbus. The front desk person was ok but when we arrived to our room I noticed that we were placed all the way at the end of the hall near a series of closets and the luggage carrier that no one assisted us with or even offered to help was clearly broken and dilapidated. The room smelled of funk, old bus seats, and armpits, therefore we needed to spray the entire room. Right outside the window was a series of garbage bins, the highway where you can hear the trucks and the noise of the outside pedestrians. So clearly fresh air was not an option on top of having a ripped window screen. On the second day we came back to our room and was unpleasantly greeted by the smell of garbage and decided to use incense and turn on the AC, to no avail, the appliance no longer worked. We contacted the front desk and were offered a room of lesser value, we asked would some of our funds be refunded since it was not what we paid for. It was a large ordeal but eventually the matter resolved, but they clearly have limited staff, along with unprofessional mannerisms. I was hung up on multiple times and yelled at. And to top it all off the taxes in Columbus are the highest in the US.

Nice hotelPosted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: The room was a nice size and having the fold out sofa was an added bonus. Having a fridge and microwave is a nice touch and the breakfast was good.
Cons: A second tv in the sitting area would have been nice.
Location: The hotel is a little further away from OSU than we would have liked, and the surrounding neighborhood was not one of the nicer areas.
Check in was smooth, the front desk staff was very pleasant, the room was spacious and quiet. Breakfast was satisfactory. If you are in town for the fair, it would be the perfect location.

Comfortable StayPosted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: the roominess
Location: July/ Rib Fest - State Fair - Downtown/ Shopping/ Restaurants (Steaks- Sushi- Seafood, etc) a lot of fun to get into.
My husband and I was greeted with a smile at the front desk. I had already per payed for our room, so when we registered it was smooth, and quick. The breakfast is great, hot sausage, eggs, cereal biscuits with gravy, fresh fruit, muffins, danishes, etc. The breakfast helped us start our day, and saved us money. The room was excellent, clean, roomy, and most of all comfortable. I can honestly say it was a great stay. Thank you Comfort Suites, and our next visit in Columbus will will stay in the Comfort Suites in Columbus on Clara Avenue. Sincerely Mrs. rodgers

Good access to University and North sidePosted Jul 9, 2015
Although we only stayed one evening, Comfort Suites met our needs. The hotel was close enough to Ohio State to make commuting easy. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was just fine and the room rates were excellent.
