I always love staying at the Crowne Plaza for conventions. Short walk for events & restaurants. Definitely worth it.

Good choice for Columbus Convention events

Pros: The check-in staff was very efficient and friendly. Fast elevators.
Location: Location is very handy for the Columbus Convention Center, the North Market and Nationwide Arena, home of the NHL Columbus Blue Jackets
Everything went smoothly. Friendly, helpful staff. Convenient location. Clean, comfortable room.

My stay for 1/13-1/15

It was okay. Overall the hotel is great, the staff were really nice. Only problem I had was the elevator/stairs. the elevators need to be redone, they were crowded, slow, and would still be moving after the doors opened. Then the stairs only went down to the 3rd floor. Other then that the hotel was great.

Friendly Staff and GREAT Location

Had a great time at the Crowne Plaza. Able to walk to the Nationwide Arena for concert. Reception, Valet Parking, and bartender all very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again if in Columbus.

I was very disappointed in how I was treated when checking in to the hotel. Curtis who worked at the front desk told me he could not find my reservation. I had booked through Hotels.com and had my confirmation ready to give that showed proof of payment. He told me to give him my credit card so he could charge me for my stay. I told him I had already paid for the room and showed him my confirmation again. He then told me I needed to take out cash to pay for the room and requested I take it from the ATM in the lobby. I had to call hotels.com and resolve the issue for them. Hotels.com was wonderful and took care of the mess and I was able to checkin. Be careful of the front desk staff!

Dirty room

Our room was filthy. There was crumbs in between the night stand and bed. A dirty used towel was left in the bathroom from the last guest. We also heard some type of fan running and squealing our entire stay. We stayed in this same hotel several months before and had a great stay, this time, not so much! We will NOT be back .

Tub/shower was clogged. I stayed two nights; no room service in between days. Front office staff not attentive. I would not recommend this place.
