hot and handicap shower

Air conditioner did not work. There was a hadicap shower that i did not request and a hand held shower head snd no tub. I did not like it at all! I asked to change rooms but was denied. i paid 154.00 for a terrible stay Plus i had to go to a seperate floor for ice. Im thinking if im staying in a handicap room, why would they make a handicap person go to another floor for ice?

enjoyed it up until the point when the 1st shift employees came in . our room was near their "office" with the normal morning interaction but LOUD - talking ,laughing, etc.... But not good if you were trying to sleep in for the morning. woke me up at 7 am and couldn't back to sleep. next time I will make sure to request somewhere away from that........

Received handicapped room because I booked with Expedia. Had recurring problem with no heat in the room. Up at 3am on two nights with 35 degrees in room! They ran out of bar soap & substituted liquid body soap all week. Finally got a bar on the last day. The staff was wonderful though.

I had family coming in from TN from the fire area but they got delayed, DoubleTree wouldn't let me change the date. I understand it in a way, not my first time making reservations, but in a situation like this you're just all over the place and they ended coming 2 days later. I didn't want to cancel, only move it back. So I was charged for $20 more than what the reservation stated for a room I wanted to use but couldn't. I put my family up in a different hotel when they arrived this morning and will think twice before recommending this hotel to anyone again.
