Newish looking hotel - helpful staff

stayed overnight for a conference in LaGrange. hotel looks fairly new - furniture and fixtures in great condition (except the door locks). the door would not open when checking in. I noticed our room and another room down the hall from us had to have the door lock assembly removed and repaired. the guy at the front desk took care of it right away. so not a big deal. just mentioning it in case your key suddenly doesn't work - it appears to be a common issue here. pool and hot tub are indoors and so I'm assuming can be used year round. didn't test the wifi so can't comment on speed, but it is free. tv and appliances worked well. can't recall if channels were hi def or not - sorry. breakfast selection was good. instant scrambled eggs, waffles, bisquits & gravy, cereals, sausage links. construction going on the building next door and the work trucks are driving through the parking lot, so watch for nails! didn't pick up any, but always very cautious about that when construction is nearby. as far as I could tell, this is the top hotel as far as quality goes in LaGrange. The other choices are pretty much just motels.
