Nice hotel in great areaPosted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Staff, clean, and location
Location: Definitely check out Dublin and all the great shops and restaurants. We also checked out the Indian River Run Park, which was wonderful.
My boyfriend and I were in Columbus for a quick weekend trip. We absolutely love the Dublin area, but this was our first time staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. We had a great experience. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and so comfy. It had all the amenities we needed for an overnight stay. The location was great too. It's set back in a business office park, which made us feel safe. Great area to walk around. Also very close to the little downtown area of Dublin, with so many great restaurants and shops. Plenty to do. Also great access to major highways to easily get around Columbus for whatever you need. Would definitely stay here again.

Could have been betterPosted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: The lobby and decor is all very nice. I've stayed here before and it's a very welcoming space.
Cons: I just don't think the staff care. They seem reactive and disinterested.
2-4 AM enjoyed the raucus return of a wedding party. Not the staff's fault, but it was loud. Left the next morning to get daughter off to college, and came back to an untouched room at 4:30. No one at front desk for over 30 minutes. When i finally got someone, the answer said it all. "Gee, I don't know what happened, as they should have cleaned your room." No kidding! Not an offer for any assistance, essentially just too bad. Breakfast was an omelet, and I asked for American cheese, so sticking out of the omelet was a slice of American cheese, clearly just out of the package. Look it wasn't all that bad, but for a Garden Hilton in an area where there are a TON of hotels, it simply needs to be better. I will stay elsewhere next time.

Little dated on furniture. The room above us had a leak in the shower. When someone showered. It would leak throughout and would and come down to our tub.

Best stay in a long timePosted Jul 14, 2015
We were celebrating our sons 3rd birthday with a hotel stay and the zoo. Staff was amazing. Very friendly and knowledgeable, clean rooms, pool and any amenity you could want. When they learned it was my son's birthday, a staff member brought him a goodie bag full of snacks for our zoo trip. I would definitely stay here again.

We arrived and late and made a last minute reservation. The hotel was beautiful. We couldn't have been happier. The woman at the desk was excellent and so was the staff the next morning. I highly recommend staying here when visiting the area.

Pros: It was convenient to the event in which I was participating. The manager tried to address some of my concerns.
Cons: Friendliness of the clerk at check-in. His partner was helpful. He was not. When I mentioned the paint pealing above the shower the manager might h
Location: because of construction you can't get anywhere without a delay
The clerk who checked us in was not very helpful. He told me the price. When I got cash out he insisted that it was credit card only and that I should have known that. I told him I was not sure if the credit card would have enough to cover... He took the cash. In the room... there was paint pealing above the shower. We found some dead bugs in a drawer, one of the folded up towels had scraps of paper in it and there was hair on the shower curtain. I was downstairs and saw the manager. I asked him to come up so I could show him a few things. He told me he knew about the paint and someone was going to take care of it in a few days. My comment was that I was staying today... I showed him the towel and the bugs. I asked for some new towels to be brought up. When they arrived he also gave coupons for breakfast. The dining staff could have been more courteous as well.
