Construction

Wasn't told there was construction taking place. Advertised amenities weren't available, messy and loud for the duration of my stay

Nice room but could not sleep

Pros: Your survey isn't allowing me enough characters to describe how the food was drenched in so much vinegar it cleared up my sinuses and I think
Cons: Fix the heating/cooling system in the room. Remove the refrigerator.
Location: Great location convenient to the state capitol building and other downtown destinations.
I went to bed at 9 pm very tired, but did not get to sleep until after 4:00am. The room was too hot and the controls on the heating/cooling system did not work. The room was so noisy it was unbelievable. Humming and beeping sounds, gurgling, groaning, constantly one after the other. Hummmmmm, hummmmmm, beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep blooop blooop grrrrrrrrrroan. And then hummmmmmmmm hummmmmm again, etc. For hours. At 2:00 in the morning I realized it was the refrigerator in my room. But it was inside a great big piece of furniture, and I couldn't move it to unplug it. So I turned it off (good thing I didn't have any food in there) but I still lay awake for two more hours just sweating in the heat.

Clean and great downtown location.

The room was very clean. We took our grandson to spend the weekend in Columbus and were disappointed that the pool was closed due to construction. The staff was very friendly! The food was a little pricey but I liked it that they had parking. Location was great. It was downtown Cincinnati and we were close to COSI.

Great hotel!!

The only negative was they were doing construction and the pool was closed. Also, they were working on the roof below during the day and it made it difficult to nap, if you needed too. Staff was awesome and love the restaurant.

Ohio Theatre visit, sight seeing and shopping.

Conveniently located. Hotel exterior is in a state of remodeling yet the inside was spotless and well appointed. Employees were helpful and polite. I had major concern about our rooms location across from the elevator. However our room was quiet and undisturbed. Room was small but immaculate. The bedding was most comfortable. When we inquired if The Ohio Theatre was indeed within walking distance, they said "yes but it's to cold for you to walk" so they arranged the shuttle to take us. We will definitely stay there again.

Thanksgiving in Columbus Ohio was a BUST!!

Pros: Very friendly staff.
Cons: The bathrooms and heating/air-conditioning.
Location: Very good for restaurant's and downtown attractions.
The hotel is under renovation on the outside but inside my room was horrible!! The bathroom was the worst!! 1) The exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working, foggy mirrors after showering. 2) The Fluid Master Water flush seal was leaking and the tank refilled every 5-10 minutes my whole two day stay. 3) The water pressure in the face bowl was too high and got a "shower" even when SLOWLY turning on the water. 4) Changes in the room temperature thermostat to the new unit wall unit from the original control in the incoming window unit ran constantly. from heating to cooling day and night!! (set points were possibly too close)

My only complaint is the walls are thin, or at least the a joining room door was thin. Could hear my neighbors talking. But the staff was great, room was very clean, wifi good, and hotel was easy to get around.
