Beautiful hotel & property!!!

Driving into this property was like arriving at a resort I could never afford. I am amazed that such a place exists & was tickled pink to have found it on Expedia! Everything was fabulous- I came in late & slept in. No noise, slamming doors, or outside traffic noise to disrupt my much needed rest. I felt extremely safe & my room & bedding was super nice as well. Honestly, I wish I could visit here more often - it truly is a gem of a hotel & I cannot recommend it highly enough!!

Quiet, clean, nice facility

Very nice hotel

The room was very comfortable and convenient to shopping and restaurants. It s very quiet and had a peaceful atmosphere considering all the events that were happening locally this weekend. I would definitely stay here again.

Great suite, clean, modern, and well-maintained.

Pros: Quiet, immaculate, and free parking and breakfast.
Cons: I recommmend landscaping with more trees as it looked a bit too college dorm-like, but all is else was excellent.
Location: If you like shopping, Polaris is nearby with scores of shops and food. Hiking in the metro park and the famous Columbus zoo.
Overall, we had a good experience at the Nationwide hotel. Created, it seems, for employeed training and conferences, the hotel doubles as a public facility when not fully used by the insurance giant. Our suite was lovely with two full rooms, fridge, microwave, and clean comfortable beds and bath. We did not use the inside pool, but did enjoy the workout room one moring. Our stay included breakfast, which was good but like every other breakfast buffet out there. Everyone we encountered, staff wise, was friendly and helpful.

Pros: Everything
I gave this Hotel and conference center five star review because they truly earned it. At check in we found that Expedia had failed to communicate my reservation to the hotel. The staff went above and beyond to correct the issue and provided me with the room I had requested. They were patient and courteous .I plan to return here when I travel to Columbus again.The food at breakfast was very good. The room was spacious clean and comfortable . If I had more time I would have enjoyed the indoor pool and workout room, maybe next time!

Beautiful grounds

We had a King Parlor Suite. Everything was perfect. Nice seating area. There is a microwave and minI fridge in the room. Breakfast was devine. Indoor pool felt great. My only regret is that weven could not stay longer.

Location: nicely located to thingsyou needed

Less then thrilled...

Good central location. Across the street from Highbanks park. Upon checking in staff was less then friendly and welcoming. The room was dirty, dark and had a musty smell. Bathroom was very cramped and there was mildew around the tub. Windows don't open so could not air out. Hotel layout very fragmented. Staff at breakfast was friendly and helpful, but the area had a sour smell to it.

Great place to hold conferences!

Pros: The hotel being a separate building from the conference rooms. Room and mattress was very comfortable. Great coffee available in the rooms.
Cons: The lighting in the bathroom is awful and very dim. I would highly recommend adding a makeup mirror with magnification.
I attended a conference at this hotel. Was originally told the rooms were sold out, but was able to reserve a room through Expedia. (Thank you, Expedia!) It would have been very convenient for the hotel staff to recommend looking for a room through another venue versus recommending another hotel 10" away. This is why the 4 versus 5 rating provided. I slept very well on the comfortable mattress and pillow. They were perfect. The blinds on the window allowed for the street lights to light the room when closed though, but it didn't bother my sleep. The lights in the bathroom were too dim to be able to see to put on eye makeup. Food was great as well and the onsite pub was very nice. The pub staff were excellent.
