The Sheraton Columbus Hotel at Capitol Square was very clean and well maintained. The staff took care of our needs very seamlessly. The restaurant in the Hotel was satisfactory. Our son joined us for the last night of the stay so they provided us with a king size room the first three nights then moved us to a double for the last night of the stay which was very convenient. Both rooms were very well appointed.

This property needs some serious attention. Room needed a deep clean. Not certain how you miss splatter of food and whatever else on walls. The beds (mattress and bed skirt) were filthy. Instead of getting new ones or deep cleaning, there is a plastic thick blue cover that is used as a “‘mattress pad”. It does neither to cover the mattress nor pad it. Food particles on the floor as it was clear the vacuum made a straight shot down the center of the hotel room. For the condition of the room and the price they charge we will not be staying here again.

The hotel was run down, in need of repair and updating. The food in the restaurant was good, but the ambiance was that of an abandoned dining hall. There was no hot water in the bathroom sink in the room.

The rooms were nice and seemed clean. My only problem was it was fixed on 80 degrees. We were miserable. I called the desk right after check in. They said someone would come and check it. Of course no one showed up and we slept in this hotbox all night. Not cool Sheraton, not a good way to maintain a business

Terrible experience! Arrived to room after attending show at Ohio Theatre …the temp was 63 degrees! The restroom door stuck so bad that I had to have my husband come and push it open from the outside. They moved us to another room but the TV didn’t work and the room was not up to standards. Interior door entering the room stuck to us that there was a structural problem. We dined in the restaurant, and the staff was less than professional! This day was not worth the money we paid for it we reserved this room This hotel, because it was next to the OHIO theater where we were attending a performance.

Scooby-doo Hotel
We had a terrible stay. The hotel is shabby and dark. Wallpaper was peeling, lounge area smelled (and was) dusty, and our room wasn't made up by 4:00 in the afternoon. When I called down to ask when they thought they might get to our room, the desk clerk said they might not because it was the end of the day. We promptly packed our things and left. When we checked out3 nights early, they didn't ask why we were leaving. They didn't care at all. DO NOT stay at this hotel! We moved to another chain and it was delightful! Worth every penny to move! Dingy, dirty, worn out, and terrible service!

My stay fell well short of expectations, both in terms of my booking, and the standard of a Sheraton. Specifically - WIFI was down for the entire stay (supposed to be included) - on arrival, our room was extremely hot (over 80 degrees). We could not adjust through thermostat and had to initiate a service request - for the first night, there was no cold running water - The window was leaking, with water pooling on the heater - 2 of the pillow cases and one of the comforters were soiled I have travelled extensively in my life, staying 100's of nights at Sheraton / Westin / Starwood / Marriot properties over the years and have to say this is the worst experience I have had. I have tried to contact the manager at the hotel, but have received no response. Very disappointed.

I switched rooms do to a large stain on the side of the bed and bedskirt. The second room was equally unclean, the chair in the room had several stains. I suggest you steam cleam the furniture in your rooms. I realize this is an older hotel, but it can be clean. The elevators were not wired down looked dirty, no vacuumiing was ever done and room temps could only be adjusted by maintenace.

This is the worst experience ever. DO NOT, DO NOT recommended this hotel.. air conditioning was not working, they put FAN in the room and charge you full price, NO accommodation, they put 1 set of towel in the room, and I check in with 2 adults and 2 children's. Reach out to the front desk for an explanation or better accommodation and they told me, there was no more towels. I DEMAND A FULL REFUND for this very very bad service..

There was nothing good to say about this stay. Arrived at 5pm after checking in remotely and confirming rooms by phone a couple of hours earlier at 2 pm, to have no room d/t lack of housekeeeper to clean them. Had concert to attend at 7pm. dis not recieve a room key until 645 pm. No time to eat, shower and get ready. After concert, finally did go back to hotel only to have room with poorly functioning AC (84 degrees in hallways on 21st floor) Definately not up to the Sheraton/Marriott brand that I am used to as a frequent business travelor. Stay sucked.

Pretty typical hotel. Friendly staff and pretty clean. It’s in a good location for walking and I felt safe in the city. However, the A/C didn’t work and the toilet seat was broken.
