Pros: The suite
Location: It was a little further away from family, but worked out fine
In Columbus for Thanksgivivng. The hotel worked out great for our two families staying together.

Nice property, worn out rooms

The property is nice overall and they have a good breakfast, but our room was pretty disappointing. There was a hole in the bathroom door (presumably because someone punched it), the couch cushions were discolored/stained and ripped (badly), the paint was peeling off the walls, a bedside drawer wouldn't stay shut unless we wedged paper in the crack, the shower didn't drain and one of the closet doors kept coming off the track. Not sure if this is isolated to the room we were in because the rest of the property seemed well maintained. We told management of the problems when we checked out--would have appreciated a discount but none was offered.

Don't waste your time ....

Called the day before arrival to request early check-in, talked to a rude gentleman in reservations. Couldnt understand him so asked to speak with someone else & he refused to transfer me to anyone else. My family also staying at the hotel went to the FD Friday night (Oct. 9) to request an early check-in for me & talked to a woman with blonde hair. She told them they do not do early check-ins because all guests check out at noon. She was twirling her hair & cracking her gum during the entire conversation & refused to put a REQUEST in. I called the hotel Saturday morning & luckily spoke to Matthew. I told him about my experiences so far & he apologized& promised he would have a room ready by 1p.We arrived at the hotel briefly before 1 & the room was ready, thank you Matthew! Had to get another room key Sat. night at approx. midnight. The auditor didn't ask for ID. When we offered to show him, he declined. Huge security issue! No food at breakfast Sunday. Everything was empty. At 8:30, no eggs, no breads, no fruit, no coffee, dirty coffee cups. Checked back @ 9:30, still no food except for shredded cheese & a few packs of pop tarts. Went to the FD because there was no breakfast attendent around. Front desk said she would go over & check things out. I asked if they were shorthanded, she said yes, she was running brkf. & the FD. We reserved a King room & used our points/paid extra for a king & got a double bed.

Girls weekend

Six of us stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. It was perfect, felt like our own little apartment, loved having two bathrooms. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was fine. Would definitely stay again.

USWDGC trip

We were in the area for a disc golf tournament. Having the suite made it very enjoyable to come back to in the evenings. It felt like a home away from home.

Not the best!

This wasn't the typical layout for a Staybridge. The room was a bit small, which led to a smaller bed. The pillows were very old & flat. The worst thing was the morning breakfast. The hotel was very full, and they ran out of EVERYTHING in the first hour. No coffee, juice or anything to eat. No apologies, just rude staff feeling overwhelmed.
