Everything was great except for television. Now normal on-air channels, quite a few channels didn't have any sound, and quite a few channels had a very poor picture. The last 3 hotels I've stayed in had issues with television; not all were Super 8

I didn’t like how there were bedbugs crawling on the bed , you will see one every once in awhile and it made me uncomfortable, and someone knocking at the window late at night wanting me to come let them in and when I didn’t they got mad and cursed me out through the window it was 11pm at night, I tried to call the front desk with the issue and no one answer. I checked out early the next day.

Very dirty. Nothing has been updated. Room smelled bad. Someone had a dog staying with them that barked a lot. We were suppose to stay 2 days but we checked out a day early.

Overall rundown with a low end clientele. The smell of marijuana in the building Was overwhelming. Room showed signs of extreme wear, but you could tell cleaning services were done with Experience and care. Laundry on the bed was perfect. The physical property had deficiencies was not up to expectations

This hotel was a little run down and the bathroom was a little dirty. Found hair on the walls. Not in good part of town run down.

Not the safest place, homeless drug addicts
Be aware that they are doing all they can to increase security , however there is a huge problem with homeless drug addicts in the area. We were not comfortable to walk anywhere near this hotel. We were awakened around 4 A.M. with a fight in the parking lot. The Columbus police do patrol the are and are trying to make things safer.

We only stayed for a short night (midnight-8am) passing through, and it was adequate for that. The bed was firm and the pillows too soft, but that's pretty typical of a hotel room. Breakfast was a two cereal options and a handful pre-packaged pastries. The parking lot had a lot of people just standing around which seemed odd for a Tuesday night, but they were quiet at least. All in all, it served our purpose of a bed to sleep in and some food in the morning before continuing on our way.

Gross!
The staff at the desk were very nice and friendly BUT.. this place smells bad. Tons of no smoking signs but obviously everyone still does. Many homeless hanging out everywhere. My room reeked of very strong air freshener that I felt sick. Carpets are old and gross. The rooms were gross too. I didn’t even want to shower. This is the equivalent to a “roach” motel pay by hour type.

Service was fine coming in but desk lady laughed when i called and told her about a roach in my room the last night of out stay. Beds were clean but carpet was dirty and room seemed run down. Lots of holes in corners and ceiling tiles. AC unit was pretty filthy.

It was what was needed when it was needed.
The service was excellent. Very helpful check-in and really nice for everyone I interacted with. The building was okay being upkeep in the common areas. Breakfast was bare bones, toaster, cereal, milk etc... Overall the value is reasonable and worked for our minimal needs.

Reserved on-line. Website pictures of the room convinced me to choose this hotel over others in the area. The pictues must have been from a newer or better maintained Super 8.

This is a very aged property that didn't make us feel safe at all. The "lobby" is simply a closed off area where you speak to someone through a window, handing any documents over under the glass. I had to wait 10 to 15 minutes to check in, as there was a "be back soon" note taped to the window. Apparently, there was only one employee working at the time, and there were things to do with some of the rooms. It was impossible to ignore the many people sitting around the building, loitering (smoking, doing drugs). That being said, none of them actually bothered us. What DID bother us was the ant infestation in the 1st room they put us in. The next morning (when a package of donuts I had gotten us for breakfast was swarming in ants), they put us in another room. There were no ants there, but the condition was no better (the hook on the back of the bathroom door fell off, there were multiple water stains on the ceiling, etc). This property is very near the beautiful historic district of Columbus. It is, however, just over a set of railroad tracks and the difference in atmosphere could not be any more stark - this was definitely on the "wrong side of the tracks".

Dublin -Granville Rd in Columbus is a dump
The staff was feiendky but, the buikding utsekf was very, very bad. Broken down cars in the lot, enrrance step was cracked and exoosed to the foundation m, the pies in the bathroom were rusty, and the curtains were torn at the bottom. And I wasn't aware people were actually living in this place full-time, and hanging around outside at night. I didn't even want to stay but my family was exhausted, it was too late to find another hotel and, it was a 3hr drive home, so we were stuck. Super 8 needs to really to disassociate with this facility because it's a disgrace to the company

The check-in process was a bit slow, but the front desk clerk was very friendly. WIFI password is written on the folder your cards come in which makes it very handy. There is a certain smell and the vending machines don't seem to take coins as they only accepted dollar bills. The room is big and clean which I really like. I hope I get a good night's sleep.

It sucks
Save your money and your soul. Don't stay here. The hallways smell, there are random people milling about, the check in point is a small area the size of a phone booth. It is behind bullet proof glass. Days Inn and Hotels.com should be embarrassed to offer this property. The area is run down and full of abandoned buildings. It looks like even Waffle house has left. There are several derelict cars in parking lot. Broken beer bottles in hall. Graffiti on wooden fence. On the upside, after a 20 min check in, the room itself was clean and comfy. Best I can say is I didn't get murdered and my car was still there in am. There were no bed bugs.

The lobby is closed down, so there is a walk up window that has 10 notices/warnings/policies hung up in all caps and bold. Makes guests feel like you are checking into a prison. Front desk person is always out smoking so you have to wait for her to finish before being helped if you have a question. Breakfast is in a hotel room and is toast, cereal, or bagel. Nothing fresh, no fruit, no yogurt. Treated like an apartment complex.

Late check in
Called to tell them i was gonna be late. They couldn't help then but called back and said we were good. When i got there at 11pm there were 5 people in line. Took 45 minutes to get my keys. I heard in the background something about a new computer system. Over all though the stay was very good. No issue with the room. Continental breakfast. Checkout was quick. Hope they get the bugs out for quicker check in.

Not so super stay
The hotel advertised a free breakfast, but their idea of a free breakfast was frozen waffles sitting out on a counter in a warm room, cereal with a jug of milk sitting out in a warm room without any way of keeping it cool, and cheap pastries that looked very stale. The halls smelled of cigarette smoke despite the multiple signs that said no smoking. The room had cheap vinyl flooring through out and made it feel very creepy. The room wasn't cleaned the first day i was there. There were multiple broken down cars in the parking lot.

Although the staff was friendly, there was an issue with the toilet function and had to call the staff to fix it. Instead I was handed a toilet plunger. I explained that the toilet didn't seem to function when I took the room and continued to disfuncttion.

So-so this time.
Second stay here on our cross country trip, on way home this time. Def say its a place to stay and leave. Bed and bathroom were clean. Cobwebs and dust bunnies along every wall/floor. Looks like a vacuum hadnt been used in a l9ng time.

It's convenient for me.
Been staying here for area concerts for a little over two years now. Bedding is always clean and I've never seen bugs of any kind, ever. Water pressure is lacking and they sure could use more channels on the TVs. Staff is always friendly, especially the front desk guy and the breakfast lady. It is convenient for me and i have never had an issue with the parking lot. They keep a close eye on stuff. Could for sure use more than just three sets of towels and one roll of TP.
