Business Trip

Pros: The staff were great, the room smelled wonderful and it was clean. The bed was comfortable.
Location: Not much near by
The room was great, the breakfast was great, the staff are wonderful. However, there were lots of worker type people, not a family trip atmosphere or relaxing weekend type of atmosphere. It was great for a one night business trip

Ok stay

The wingate is an older hotel but is still nice. Our rooms were clean and very spacious. The location to town was also convenient. The only problem we incurred was that there was the Johnskn family reunion staying there, and every room was booked. The pool was cluttered with people; the halls were cluttered with people hanging out. One good thing is that the doors were very sound proof! While we heard chatter while we were walking the halls, once we got into our room, it was quiet. Nice stay overall.

Nice area

Pros: Location and comfortable quite room.
Cons: Carpet in the hall had a few bad stains.
Location: Small shops near by, coffee shop, spa, very safe looking area. We even got out before dark to take a nice walk.
Nice location, great staff, nice room, breakfast was good. This was first time for using Expedia app while traveling it worked out wonderful

Not worth it....

I've never had such a poor experience in a hotel before. - fruit flies throughout the hotel and in the rooms. I killed 6-10 per night during my 4 night stay. - bathroom is outdated with visible signs that it was not cleaned or cared for properly. Bath mat was dirty before and after housekeeping cleaned it. Probably so old that the dirt was permanent. Shower head was rusted and clogged that the water did not spray out properly. - King bed had pillows smaller than standard pillow sizes. They were so small I had to lay across two at a time. - had to beg housekeeping and front desk staff for clean towels - gym did not have cleaning solution to wipe down the machines - ceiling above bed contain water stains and was cracked. I felt like it would cave in on me at any time.

Great Place!

It was a great place to rest at the end of long days the only thing that bothered me was that I was at breakfast and another guest had his playing music loudly. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to start anything but if he would have had earplugs I wouldn't be complaining but I know that's out of your hands. It was awesome I would stay again!
