"Lovely hotel, immaculately presented. Reception staff were very friendly and gave advice on local restaurants etc. Room was spacious (deluxe) with ample tea and coffee supplied, shower was great. We didn’t get to use the pool due to lack of time, but did a quick walk around the hotel and had a peak at the pool which looked fine. Parking is limited at the hotel and has to be pre booked at £20 a night but we parked at a public car park right next door which was almost the same price."

"Room was good size and bed comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Avoid staying in room 1 as it backs on to the car park and I could hear a conversation out there which woke me at 3am and lasted for an hour! This obviously frustrated me and did impact on the enjoyment of my stay. It was meant to be peaceful and relaxing. "

"Good value for money on the Fri fee of Exeter. Shame that parking was not free given the large car park. Bed was large and comfy and free breakfast was great. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Bathroom has a cool feature using one door to lock the toilet while leaving the bath and sink accessible. "
