Big hotel and a nice location

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, we wanted to stay close to LA for one day and this hotel was great even for the price. When we got into the hotel I was amazed how nice the staff was and how nice even the hotel itself was! When we got to our room the room was big and the bathroom was amazing!! I definitely will stay here if we ever come back to California!

Very well priced hotel close to the 5

I'm not a gambler, but if I were, I may have been disappointed at the lack of slots and overall ambiance of the game floor. But like I said, not a gambler, so breezed right by the floor and toward the front desk of lobby. Easy check in...they overbooked so I lost my king to a pair of double beds, but gentleman at desk was apologetic and extremely courteous...I was staying by myself, so no problem. Room was clean and likely updated pretty recently, so that was nice to open the door to. Bathroom also updated and stocked nicely with essential toiletries. How about the fact that parking didn't cost me a cent? They offer $5 easy in/out valet for as many times as you want daily too, but I was able to find a spot in their large parking lot that didn't take more than 5 minutes to walk back to my room to. I was counting on the standard $40-50 nightly parking rate, so that was outstanding. The last, and I think most refreshing takeaway from my stay at the Crown Plaza Commerce Casino was the incredible friendliness of every single staff member I interacted with. From the front desk to the bistro; the bar to the coffee counter -- everyone made me feel as if I were an asset to their entire operation. Oh -- none more than the security personnel. They were nothing but smiles and warm wishes for a good day and exceptionally helpful whenever a question arose. This hotel obviously takes customer service very seriously, and it shines bright.

Hotel was bit in shady area. Staff was not that friendly. Hotel got nice casino. Should focus on cleanliness.

More like a 3 star hotel

Location and view are terrible. You are basically stuck in the middle of an industrial park. View of parking lots all around. Pool in the photos looks good which is why i chose to stay there, i wanted to relax poolside for a couple of days. In reality the pool is the tiniest i've ever seen, smaller than a normal kiddy pool... horrible really. Restaurant wasnt good at all. The overall feel was of a cheap casino hotel. Dissapointed.

During this time we did provide complimentary shuttle service to the Doubletree so that our guests could enjoy their pool and gym. We hope you were able to take advantage of this. Cons: Finish the remodel.
Location: Everything is close by.
They do drive you to another hotel to use their facilities but it is an inconvenience.

Unprofessional

I've never been in a hotel with staff and management so rude. We planned our trip so as to have a pool at our hotel. Upon arriving we were told the pool wasn't going to be open but they could shuttle us to another hotel. I expressed my displeasure and was told "well you can always go find another hotel". Since not being from down California we stayed and just chose to use the shuttle. EVERY time we had to wait 30 plus minutes to either be picked up or to be dropped off. It was ridiculous. I hope no one stays here in the future. I will add our room was nice, and it was clean.

Nice staff.

The staff at the hotel were very sweet. The beds were comfortable, however the room had a musky scent. Only stayed one night so it was ok.
