The sheets had blood in the them. I was disgusted . I would not go there anymore.

Great big rooms

Enjoy the stay, the room... they need a lot of work with the facilities, but other than that the room was great the pool was great and had no problemz.

Staff was not worried or concerned about the guest when he is on line but keep on talking with other staff member for long periods of time.

Run down hotel with no poker

Cons: It needs money put in the place and some TLC
I was told that this was a nice hotel and casino at one time. When you arrive there is stuco hanging off the building ready to fall. The Blue lights that highlight the hotel the bulbs are burned out. The staff was nice, but when you go into the elevator the mirrors have graffiti all over them and not well taken care of. I supposedly got a suite with a non smoking room. The suite was not very nice, it smelled like smoke and i noticed a sticky mouse trap near the dresser. Lastly i went to play poker and they removed all of the poker tables. I was told that Hawaiian Gardens took all of the poker games away.

Horrible check in service.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything.
The young man that checked me had a horrible attitude. Didn't welcome me or say thank you at any point of our interaction.

Avoid this hotel

Pros: Location was ok and reception staff tried best to assist at times.
Cons: Do not offer this hotel to anyone
Location: shopping is nearby to hotel and restaurants to eat at night.
The hotel reception staff were quite friendly, I was given a King room which is what I had booked, I wanted a Twin bedded room, which they eventually provided on the 2nd night. But on the 2nd morning the bathroom was flooded and so we had to shift rooms, however the Twin bedded room which I eventually stayed in , was of a very poor standard, bathroom was very dirty, tap in the sink before the bathroom was not working. Room cleaning is only done on request! The bed sheets were not changed even though we requested this, in fact the room was not properly cleaned at all. I requested to borrow a corkscrew from the hotel bar and even offered $100 as a deposit, they still would not assist me!...Breakfast was very basic and there were flies all over the room, the coffee was cold and when I requested the Chinese waiter to replace at first he said he doesn't speak English then refused to provide hot coffee. There is a casino in the hotel and bingo hall also, so the atmosphere is not very family friendly. I finally decided to check out of the hotel on Sunday Aug 13th and booked another hotel myself, so will be seeking some compensation for this as I paid over $450 for 3 nights of my final stay. As an International Business Development Manager I travel a lot and would not rate this as a 3* hotel at all...

Telephone not working refrigerator went out television went out. Staff was not. Professional and could not speak English when repairs were made to fringe staff did not to see if it works properly no one management was available

No screens on window, couldn't open due to a wasp nest in the corner. No cable. No maid service. $100 deposit on arrival, when you check out, they say 5 or more days to get it back. No ice machine on the 5th floor, you have to go to another floor for that. Complimentary breakfast is one to pass, they do not offer much, good thing there is a Starbucks next to it. Oh and they have motion sensor lights in the hall and bathroom, if you make a wrong move in the main room it turns on the hall light, if you go to turn that off it turns the bathroom light on... they need to get rid of that !! So if you are a person that gets up, the lights will bother you and the person you are with !!!!
